The first thing I cut was 1/4" neoprene with some very tough fabric covering both front and back. Very difficult to cut with scissors. The Electric Fabric cutter went right through it as fast as I could go. It cut some 1/2" automotive carpet underlayment that I can been struggling to cut. Again no issue with this tool. It came with instructions and safety advise. There is no trigger lockout the keep you from accidently activating the motor/blade. However that makes it very easy and quick to use and is no different that many power tools.

It lasted a week and then stopped working. The plastic gear connected to the blade strips out easy.

Wow cuts through carpet with ease, let my sister borrow it still waiting for its return.

The customer service with this company is fantastic and I give them 10 stars! I suffer from arthritis and these cutters allow me to continue my love of working with thick materials. I volunteer for Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County cat rescue and make thousands of post surgical pads that provide clean and comfortable bedding for felines after their spay and neuter procedures. I could not continue this passion without these cutters. And any issue at all with the product and the company is right there to help me through it. I give them 10 STARS!!!

These are nothing like i needed. I made a mistake and ordered 2 and only needed 1 but this is for a company that has multiple layers yo cut. I have had these for a couple of years and never used them.

Fonctionne très bien. Un peu plus lourd que je pensais mais quand même très acceptable. Je dois tailler dans du molletonné et j’arrive à faire des coupes précises. Je dois m’assurer que la première épaisseur est bien au-dessus du pied, sinon, ça ne fonctionne pas bien c’est évident. C’est juste une question d’habitude. Il faut lever cette première épaisseur et ça coupe comme du beurre. J’ai déjà eu un ciseau du même genre d’une grande marque à 500$ et je ne peux pas dire qu’il y a une différence entre les deux modèles, sauf pour le prix. Les courbes prononcées sont faciles à tailler. On dois s’assurer de suspendre le fil électrique pour ne pas le couper. J’utilise la corde à linge du sous-sol. J’attache une corde après et le fil électrique à la bonne hauteur et c’est parfait.

Love the fact that it makes cutting so much faster. Even when cutting out a small keyhole, it is VERY precise. If cutting something fluffy (like flannelette) make sure you carefully clean out the fluff afterwards. It can get lodged in the small crevices. Otherwise, an excellent buy!
