Good tool for the price!

Had three 5mm bolts on my grinding machine that needed to come out. This, coupled with a good bit, made short work of them. Easy out. It would be nice if it came with those bits, though.

This is a nice package, including five different sized screw extractor bits in a nice plastic storage case. The one (somewhat major) thing that is missing is instructions on how to use the extractors. When I went back to the Amazon listing for this product, there is a picture showing how to use them. So there is that, at least. However, I think that instructions enclosed with the extractor kit showing how to use them would be helpful. But, the product appears to be well made, having an innovative design, and should be helpful for extracting stripped screws and bolts, once you figure out how to use them.

Clearly you need a drill to use these, but you'll also need a drill bit and hammer, along with a good quality wrench, preferably adjustable. But I definitely recommend this, because it comes in handy when you have the need for removing screws that break.

These worked on a broken screw I had to get out. The not fun part is doing the actual work to get to use these. Drilling a hole in a broken screw or bolt is NOT fun. Hopefully you never have to do it, but if you do break something you are going to need one of these to try and get it out. So you might as well spend a few bucks and get this ahead of time so you are prepared.

Just one of those tools that are priceless if you're stuck with a broken bolt. I held off on reviewing the item until I had a chance to actually use it but thankfully no opportunity came around. Based on my experience with another set I used, these look identical and I have every reason to expect that they'll perform perfectly. Even if they don't hold up, you rarely are faced with more than one broken bolt on a job. Did I just jinx myself??? It is reasonably priced, has multiple sizes and comes in a storage case. Better to have it than not to...
