I'm all about packing efficiency. I want as many things as I can bring to ease my life when on the road for work, without adding any unnecessary bulk or weight. This charges my series 9 Braun without having to take the big power adapter it came with. I use an unbelievably small dual port USB charger that folds into nothing. Second port charges my electric toothbrush. Love the bathroom efficiency!

Lies in description. Says it will take 5vdc usb signal and change it to 12vdc so razor will charge. Tested with multimeter and various capable usb power sources. Only has 5vdc output. Razor will not charge.

I love the USB end because I can use it in the car as well as at home.

Very happy I bought this wire - it charges the Braun S9 Pro perfectly with just a standard USB wall charger so its perfect for travel since all you need is the wire and any USB charge cube to charge your shaver. I bought a standard USB S9 case and have this cable tucked in their nicely for when I travel.

So with my bathroom setup I have been trying to reduce wall warts and overall messiness around my sink vanity area. I added the 4-usb + 3-outlet cover seen in the pictures a while back just to be able to add some extra functionality for my Braun Series 7, Sonicare, clippers, phone, earbuds, and smartwatch chargers. As I now have a lot more USB capability than AC outlets I am trying to move to more USB plugs. This one works great for my Braun Series 7 and seems to charge just fine. Only issue was the first time I plugged it in it seemed like I had to push really hard to get it to go in. After that first time it has felt like the factory plug. If you are looking for a USB charger for your Braun shaver I do recommend this one.

The media could not be loaded. A very convenient mobile charger for the razor can be used in the car and wherever it is convenient to take it with you.
