I purchased this when we were selling a car for cash. It came in the normal packaging, but the top end was cut away! I was afraid this was a used and dry item, but it worked fine. Still, the packaging should not have been opened for a new product! (Therefore, I remove one star.) I end up giving the pen to the guy who purchased the vehicle as his wife runs a daycare and deals a lot in cash. I recommend purchasing -- but watch the packaging!

This pen works perfect for detecting fake money,
I liked how easy it was to tell if money was fake, yellow is real black is fake. The yellow fades away on real money. Great to use when selling a high ticket or rare item.

?I sell in a flea market, which is acash driven sort of marketplace. CASH in larger denominations needs to be tested, as THATmis where the forgery hapens- the $20, $50, and $100 bills are FREQUENTLY forgeries. Hopefully an accurate way of spotting a fake bill. Although easy to use I have read that it may not be completely reliable.
