I was so surprised when I made up 8 ounces of this stuff to add to pork gravy (for someone who is allergic to anything with chicken in it). I tasted a teaspoon of it, and it's delicious! And chicken-y!Now, if they would just make a version of this with little or no sodium, it would be truly perfect! The pork roast had to be cooked with plenty of salt already, so the addition of this to the pork drippings took the gravy ALMOST past the point of perfect saltiness. I hope that BTB will make this same delicious formula with very low or no sodium, so I have more control over the sodium content AND the saltiness when using it for cooking; i.e., don't just replace the sodium with potassium or some other salty-tasting thing.Anyway, recommended!

Love this. Makes my quinoa taste like chicken rice a roni and is a secret ingredient for my pho broth. I have an onion sensitivity and this is flavorful without irritating me.Also, if you can find the no beef one I’d highly recommend that as well from this brand.

You can’t go wrong with better than bouillon. It’s one of the more high-quality ones out there and this does not disappoint. We are all vegan in our household and we absolutely love the flavor that this gives to the many dishes we use it in. The flavor is excellent. Highly recommend.

I use this all the time for soups, sauces and rice pilafs. It is on the pricey side, but the product is always consistent. I always keep several jars in stock.

This is a thick paste that needs refrigeration after opening. The flavor is a fast seasoning for soups and stews, and even water for cooking potatoes. It can be a bit salty, so salt should be added gently, possibly decreased from one's normal practices. Keep a jar on hand for when a friend or neighbor runs out of bouillon cubes!
