I like knowing at a glance which is the salt grinder and which is the pepper grinder. No squinting at the top, looking for my glasses, to read the top of the mills. These both adjust easily, and are easy to use. We like the look, quality and craftsmanship of them.

This will be your last salt and pepper mill set. In six months it has not had any issues and it works like a swiss watch

These look beautiful and I wanted to love them. Unfortunately they just do not work and are poorly designed. The grinding mechanism on the salt mill seems to be poor quality and constantly gets jammed. The pepper mill is great when it works, but it too routinely gets jammed. In this case it’s not the grinder itself, but it seems that the storage for the peppercorns is so narrow that they get stuck. You’ll be grinding pepper just fine and the next moment you’re grinding nothing but air. A violent shake or two usually brings some more peppercorns within reach of the grinder for a moment or two, but soon you’re grinding air again. They’re beautiful but they just do not work.

I love these grinders! Perfect coarse or finely ground salt and pepper for every meal. Highly recommend.

Peugeot pepper mills are considered the “best” and we’ve had a pair of less expensive Peugeot mills for years in matching color. I decided that every time I wanted only pepper I had to turn over the mill in order to see if I had the pepper or the salt. I realize this is not a huge burden. I saw a set in a navy blue color and it made me start searching for a new set. I starting searching for Peugeot mills that were light and dark. This set arrived and I filled them and I noticed that they were easier to set the grind, and gave much more control than my previous set. It is a significant step up from my previous set. Love them.

I was really looking forward to this set sprucing up my kitchen, but unfortunately they did not work as I had hoped. Regardless of how large the salt I use, and how fine I have the grind dialled in, it simply falls straight out the bottom and leaves a mess any time anyone moves the mill, whether they are grinding or not. No matter what the settings, the large salt crystals simply fall out everywhere. Expensive and unusable.
