I tried the Sodastream regular Dr Pete mix before trying this diet one, and they're identical to me in taste, and much easier to pour thanks to it not having any sticky sugary stuff in the mix. Tastes great to me, the price for a 4 pack of this stuff is great, and I could not recommend this more if you like Dr.Pepper. (pro tip, add a little zero sugar vanilla, it makes it closer to the real thing) It contains the same amount of caffeine as the regular, does not contain aspertame, and is artificially sweetened using sucralose. I'm not a physician or health expert by any means, but if you're switching to diet due to health concerns, I would advise you do some research on sucralose and the possible effects it has on your gut biome. I personally take pre/probiotics to be on the safe side, something to consider, always do your own research. I'm not a dentist or dental expert by any means, but if you're switching to diet due to dental concerns, I would advise you do some research on acidic drinks, especially with C02, regardless of diet or not. I personally use a titanium straw as it doesn't affect taste, and like any other reusable straw it reduces the contact your acidic bubbly beverages will have on your teeth - again always do your own research.

Great product, good price. Pros: Amount of soda: I am still baffled how concentrated this stuff is. Now, consider each bottle makes up to 9 liters. That's more than 25 cans of 12 oz. soda. And I've been weaning myself off a little at a time, so it's going a little further for me. But what I really like is that I'm not making so many trips to the store, and a LOT less waste or aluminum cans or plastic bottles that may or may not go to recycling. Flavor: Some have mentioned this isn't quite as good as Diet Dr. Pepper, but as far as I could tell, (or couldn't tell) I couldn't tell the difference. haha. So I did a side by side taste test to a 16 oz. Diet Dr. Pepper in a plastic bottle and could not tell the difference. Of course this would all depend on your mixture and how sensitive your taste buds may be. But I seriously could not tell the difference myself. CO2: On a different note, with Sodastream, a big chunk of money is in the replacement or refilling of the CO2 bottles. So I bought my own large 5lb tank of CO2 and refill the Sodatream bottles myself. Then get the big bottle refilled for $20 when it gets empty. So far I'm up to 7 refills from the big tank and still going strong. Cons: Packaging: There was some slight leakage. although I am not certain these actual bottle leaked , or if happened at the factory, or some other bottles in the factory or warehouse had leaked onto them. Because I could not tell if any had actually leaked out. If so, it was very very little. (A drop or two) It had seeped into the wrapper like some others had posted. So quite possibly came from this bottle. But otherwise, not enough leakage to be a concern for me.
