The build quality is solid. The controller feels just slightly more smaller and narrow to a regular Xbox Controller, but it’s still comfortable to hold. The buttons, triggers, and d-pad feel good in use and are responsive. The connection is great and the charging dock being included is a nice touch for a controller at this price point. Admittedly I think the software is barebones and I don’t like that you can’t assign keyboard macros. I’m sure the extra buttons can be useful, but personally I don’t use them.

It's a very nice controller. It offers more buttons than typical xbox controller, and its comfortable in the hand. the should buttons are adjustable so you can choose a long or short throw on them. The dock is also a nice feature. You plugged it into your computer, and it gives you connectivity/charging. I think it was well worth the price.

Everything about it feels like an upgrade. The button, stick and trigger response feels right. The programmable macro switches on the back and underside are placed perfectly so I didn't have to be a contortionist to use them. And since we're on the subject, every single button and switch is programmable. You can send every function to wherever you want it to be. Another cool touch is that the wireless dongle is tucked away in the docking station. You have the choice to remove it and plug directly into your PC. But it's better to use the dock. Because everything is automatic. Place the controller in the dock and you're instantly charging. Remove it and it instantly connects wirelessly at 2.8ghz. It with the flick of a switch via Bluetooth. And of course you can plug it directly and use it wired. Another unique feature are the LED lights. You can change the colors but also how they behave. Evenb option to have every action show as a location on your stick ring colors. You have to see it to get it. As I said, best controller I've ever used. Well worth the price. About $90 in 2026.

Controller is on par with an official Xbox One controller in terms of build quality for a lower price point. Have been using it on PC for a while now and it seems to function well. After updating the firmware on the controller, all buttons are mapable using Steam Input which is a large plus. Thumbsticks are great and have a very smooth flow to them. Same with the triggers. Only complaint i have it that the controller uses standard tactile buttons for the ABXV buttons instead of mouse click style, but that is more of a personal preference as I am sure some people would prefer the tactice feel. Overall, I would highly recommend this controller for PC use. Easy, stable connection, good thumbsticks, good trigers, good build quality, love the charging dock.

Great controller for the price. The TMR sticks feel amazing to use and the adjustable triggers are very nice. Easy to set up and easy to customize the RBG with the app. Also I saw several reviews claiming this doesn't come with the USB dongle, those people clearly didn't read the instructions in the box there is a small dongle its inside the mount and you can open a panel to detatch it if you want but it comes connected to the dongle so there's no need to.

They fixed the connection issue from version 1. Now it never drops connection. The version 1 drops connect like 4-5 times a day. This never does. I should give it 4 stars but on these scales, a 4 star would make people not buy it when compared to other controllers it's probably better. I wish they would let you configure all the buttons on a keyboard because as it is right now, all their extra buttons are useless when it can only map to a game controller's buttons. Also I really dislike the R buttons placement, it's way too high up making me extend my index finger sideways. The joysticks padding is way too thin. It should've been fat and rounded. I really like how fast it connects after taking it off of the charger, this is way better than xbox one controller on pc. I never used the led lights. It's super distracting to have a bright light right under your eye. As for construction quality, it has a solid premium feel. I mean I'm using it for a reason. This is a decent controller and probably better than most of them. Although button placement on an xbox one controller was perfection. Also having an actual charge stand is so much nicer than a little charger that sticks to it. It's so nitpicky to say this but it feel so much nicer to just put it on a charger and take it off with one hand. Very convenient feeling and that makes all the difference.

The first thing I'll note is that I had an issue with this controller and almost returned it. I requested a return through Amazon and just needed to take the controller to a drop-off location. I was having issues where my computer would recognize the controller but it only worked in one or two of my games. In the games it worked I would receive a message that the type of controller was not recognized so it appeared this was a poorly implemented knock-off. However, before finishing the return I decided to give it one more go. I remembered that the sales page mentioned to use 2.4G on Windows instead of Bluetooth. I switched it on the back of the controller and lo and behold it worked perfectly in all of my games and no longer gave a warning about it being unrecognized. I immediately cancelled my return. Now on to what I really love about this controller. The look is sleek, it is wireless, and the charging dock doubles as a passthrough for the 2.4G dongle. You only need to take up a single USB port on your computer to both charge and connect the controller. It is comfortable to hold and the sticks are smooth. The only downside is it does not appear to have a replaceable battery. Who knows how long it will last and once it's dead it looks like I will have to get a whole new controller. Even with that negative I still give it 5 stars for the well-thought design and great execution.

This review is going to be a bit mixed in that I loved my time with the controller but the controller I received was defective in that the profile function didn't work. First and foremost I really enjoyed the comfort this controller brought to my gaming. Feels really good in my big hands and honestly felt as good as my Nintendo Pro controller which is my favorite controller to game with. Buttons felt very responsive and triggers felt good as well. I noticed while playing Expedition 33 that I was hitting more dodges and parries with this controller than I was with my previous controller all while playing wirelessly. I also liked that this controller didn't feel too overly complicated. I liked that the dongle was USB-C and not the old school USB 1-3.0. Dock felt sturdy and well made. All in all this is a great controller with very good response time. If it hadn't have been for my controller's defect I would have kept it. I really only had one complaint not related to the defect in that when I placed the controller on the dock I didn't get a good sense that it was charging. Thinking about it now that might have been another thing wrong with the controller I received but I don't know. I'm only giving this a 3 star review because though I did highly enjoy my time with this controller I have no idea if my issues were based on a small few or if my defects are well known and hit far more consumers. I'd be willing to give this company another shot in the future in hopes that I was just one of a small few.

Very comfortable, it has a very nice rumble, and the lights are customizable and can easily be turned off. Mapping the extra buttons is easy, and works well.

I initially bought the Ultimate 2C, and it was very good, but this one Ultimate 2 just feels much more premium, and it is. I'm very satisfied with the purchase, the ergonomics of the controller are excellent 👌.

J'ai changé de manette suite à une extinction complète après des années de dure labeur d'une nacon ultimate (200€) et je suis extrêmement content de cette 8bitdo (60€). Manette très réactive, parfaitement compatible avec mon pc qui l'a détecte aussitôt enlevé du socle de charge. Très qualitatives, ergonomique, impression de robustesse ... Sur le plan technique, c'est une des meilleures manette du marché avec un prix explosant toute concurrence (joystick tmr, gâchette hall effect/ lineaire...). Taille de manette unique plus petite qu'une manette élite ou PS5, peut être déplaisant pour certain, elle me convient parfaitement malgré de grandes mains. Les seuls points "négatif" (subjectifs) que je lui ai trouvé sont: - le software qui ne propose pas de personnalisation des paramètres joystick ( courbe d'accélération) -Le software qui ne propose pas de couleur constante, seuls des mods de couleurs variables sont personnalisables Si vous êtes un joueur plus occasionnel sa petite sœur ultimate 2c fait parfaitement l'affaire ,étant pour moi le meilleur rapport qualité-prix existant (il n'y a bien sûr pas les même caractéristiques).

O controle 8BitDo superou minhas expectativas. Utilizo para jogar Zelda Breath of the Wild no Cemu e a experiência é excelente. O controle tem um acabamento impecável, passa muita qualidade e é bem confortável, mesmo em longas sessões de jogo. Outro ponto muito positivo é a segurança e precisão dos joysticks com Hall Effect, que evitam drift e garantem maior durabilidade. Além disso, o controle conta com um software próprio, que permite realizar algumas configurações e ajustes. Observação: não é possível fazer bind substituindo teclas do teclado por botões do controle; o software permite apenas configurar binds entre os próprios botões do controle. Tirando esse detalhe, o controle é simplesmente maravilhoso. Ótima resposta dos botões, excelente compatibilidade e ótimo custo-benefício. Recomendo muito!

Completely unusable for the reason intended. I have only had this controller for a day and had nothing but problems. Firstly I want to use it on Bluetooth, it registered however when I go into my PC games the A and B button are switched. I had to download some software to fix it Thought my problem was solved? Nope, next went into my game and registered as playstation despite the buttons being the same as xbox. I'm so sad, I just wanted to get away from xbox controllers as they break on me quite frequently. Do better 8bitdo.
