The Pi Box enclosure is surprisingly well built with a nice texture, and the carry case alone feels like it is worth at least ₹250. I have bought a smaller IEM case for ₹150 from Audiocular before, so this feels like a great bonus. The included USB 3.0 cable is high quality, easily worth at least ₹200 on its own, and it even comes with a velcro organiser. Performance is great, giving around 80 MB/s with USB 3.0 on HDD and 25 to 30 MB/s on USB 2.0 when tested with my phone. It supports SATA HDDs, which is a big plus. I personally use it with an old laptop HDD to store my large collection of hi-res FLAC songs, where each file is between 30 and 80 MB, along with movies and other media. If you have extra budget, pairing this with an SSD would be even better. The Type-C port is very convenient, and you can use your phone’s C-to-C cable with it. The free phone stand they include is also a nice touch. It is not a premium build, but for the price, it is a decent and good quality product. The only downside is the front logo and text, which look a bit cheap, and I will probably cover them with stickers. Overall, this is a great buy and totally worth the money.

I’m very happy with this product — it helped me recover and access my old 2.5" HDD easily. At first, I thought the internal SATA connector was loose, but it turns out that’s by design for easy tool-free access. Once the drive is inserted, it fits perfectly and stays stable during use. It supports 2.5" SATA HDDs and SSDs, and works great with both. The transfer speed is smooth, installation is quick, and the compact size makes it very easy to carry — perfect for travel or daily use. The only minor drawback is that the material feels a little cheap, kind of like 3D-printed plastic, but it still does the job well. Overall, a solid product that solved my major issue. Excellent enclosure and appreciable attention to detail. The connectivity is great, I got it because it is easily connectable to Type-C ports. I use it on my Macbook Air and Pro and it functions perfectly. The speed is also great for the price. The cable quality is also vey good. You can also directly use your Macbook Air Type C charging cable, making the enclosure more portable. The product is very easy to use, the sliding to open feature is great, you just need to be careful and gentle with frequent swaps. The quality is high, and the brand provides a cable, a carrying case, a free phone stand in the bundle for this price! Also, the brand is clearly committed to improving quality and gives attention to detail. Good Job! Highly recommend over cheap and slow options. The brand is genuine, and they do not bribe people for positive reviews, which I respect. Their work and quality speaks. The blue colour looks good and fresh. Detailed review- All of the components have fabulous quality and feel durable. Packaging was on point and smelled nice. The enclosure is fully compatible with all 2.5 inch SSDs and HDDs. Contents- - 2.5-inch Type C drive enclosure - USB Type A to Type C 3.2 Gen1 cable - One sided EVA foam tape (precut into 2 pieces) to fill any extra space for smaller SSDs or reduce vibrations for HDDs. - Appropriately sized carrying case for enclosure + cable and accessories. The provided manual, although small, is extremely informative, containing a lot of product specs and a full section dedicated to formatting a new or existing drives. They also provide Whatsapp support in case of any problems. Most alternate offerings do not come with a carrying case and many have a micro-B female connector instead of the modern standard Type C connector. There is no provision for screwing in the drive into the enclosure, an exclusion that is standard for enclosures to maintain ease of use and clean looks. If you *frequently* transfer hundreds of gigabytes, it's worth investing in an enclosure with active cooling (i.e a fan) to prevent throttling and long-term wear; But for *occasional* long transfers, simply blowing air onto the enclosure (using a fan or AC vent) should be sufficient to prevent throttling. A *15 month warranty* is provided upon product registration on the PiBOX website. Their product selection menu wasn't straight forward for the SATA enclosure. To select the product; navigate- Hard drive Accessories -> enclosures -> 2.5 HDD Enclosures. For less than rs 500, it's great value for money! Could not recommend the product more. I Went for the black color option, but other colors seem nice as well, worth considering. Spoiler alert- They also sent a small phone / tablet stand as a gift with an encouraging message to donate a meal to the needy. Although it's not listed on the product page, they should list it as a free gift; since it makes for a great addition. Else just let it be a surprise!
