Very good mouse overall!
One of the best mice I have owned, I was worried about the size and shape of the key style clickers at first, but with the larger back cover, it is surprisingly comfortable. I got the block style, which has a nice retro look which I like and matches my keyboard. I like the fact that the keys come off, which will make it far easier to keep clean than conventional mice. Weight wise, it is a nice balance, not overly heavy but not overly light. Switches feel nice and have good feedback and the scroll wheel is large and feels solid with no play. The small screen showing the DPI and battery is a very neat idea too. I use a wired connection and find it very responsive, but I cannot really speak to responsiveness when using the included dongle or Bluetooth. The only downsides that I find is the lack of software support, so the DPI settings are locked in at 800, 1,600, 2,400, 3600 and 4,000 only and cannot be set by software, I find that 4,000 is good for me, but I could see that being a dealbreaker for some. Other than that, it would be nice if you could get replacement "key caps"; you can already get a replacement back cover, so it would be nice if you could get both. If Lofree could address these two things, I'd think this would be a near perfect mouse IMO.

Looks fantastic. A bit small. Great battery life. Bluetooth function is all over the place.
This mouse is awesome looking. The Bluetooth function is not very responsive but the dongle and cable option work just fine. It has a long battery life. It feels a bit small in your hand but still pretty comfortable.

A terribly executed, cool idea.
I really wanted to like this. Absolutely love the concept and the look of it. But… the moment I pulled it out of the box I knew it was going to be a big miss. The mouse gives mech keyboard vibes and looks a touch industrial. In pictures. Once it’s in front of you, you can see that it’s cheap and cheaply made. And it gets worse when you touch it. It’s very light, which isn’t a bad thing for a mouse, but if you’re gonna make it light it’s gotta feel solid and smooth. This is neither. The materials are cheap and the fit and finish is on par with a knock off playschool toy. The size and button placement makes it a chore to try and use. The thumb buttons are very low and have no resistance, making it difficult to move the mouse without triggering the “back” button without putting your hand in an awkward position. This also makes the little thumb ledge pointless - unless your hands are child sized. If you’re expecting the key cap shaped mouse buttons to feel a bit like a keyboard, they don’t. They’re just low resistance standard mouse buttons decorated with a key cap, which creates a nice comfortable spot for your fingers that you have to keep your fingers off of to avoid unintended clicking. I could go on, but why? It’s a cool idea with terrible execution.

I wanted to love this mouse
I really wanted to love this mouse. I wanna start by saying that the mouse I use every day is a Logitech mx master. That’s a 5/5 mouse. I knew going into this that this mouse wouldn’t be better than that but maybe it could come close. So most of my review is based on me comparing it to the logi mouse. Let’s talk about the good. The design of this mouse is SOOOOOOO good. I cannot stress enough how sick the design of this mouse is. When I saw it I knew I had to have it. As a person that is obsessed with keyboards, having a mouse that reminiscent of one was very attractive. I loved the beige 1990s computer aesthetic. The oled screen is cool and nice to be able to check the dpi and connection type at a glance. The texture of the plastic and rubber scroll wheel is very pleasing. The feel and travel of the left and right buttons is superb. The weight is about the same as the logi mx master so no complaints there. Battery life doesn’t last as long as the logi but long enough where you won’t feel like you’re charging it too often. That’s about where the good ends. The bad. This is a very very small mouse. I have medium size man hands and the mouse is too small for it to be comfortable. This mouse is better for women (respectfully) or if you have small small hands. I even bought the replacement cover (at an additional cost) that extends the size and it’s still too short. The biggest issue is that it’s not wide enough. It’s too slim and too short. You’ll find yourself using a claw grip rather than a palm grip which is very fatiguing if you’re using it for an extended period of time (which I do, office desk job). Additionally, it has a very clicky sound to the buttons. Very reminiscent of just any old cheap mouse that you can get anywhere. For a design that resembles a keyboard and at this price point, I expected a little more thought put into the sound. It advertises replaceable buttons and back cover but then they only offer 3 fugly (personal preference) designs. This mouse has been on the market for a year or two and there’s only been 3 designs, like come on man. I would only recommend this mouse for office work which means that having all those DPI options is pretty useless, you’ll find yourself using only the 800 DPI or in my case using the custom feature to lower it even further to 400/600. If you’re looking for a gaming mouse DO NOT get this mouse. The lack of extra buttons, the size, no software, and specs suggest this is not built for that. I recommend the logitech g502 hero (or g502 lightspeed if you want wireless). It’s cheaper and just superior to this mouse in every way for gaming. To summarize, this mouse is form over function. If you only care about aesthetics, this is the mouse. If you want an actual mouse that you will love spend the extra money for a mx master mouse.

Great build, sensor could be better, well designed.
Product came in exactly as expected, clean, simple packaging. Set up was easy, plugged in the wireless USB and it worked. However the downsides came at a cost of weight of the mouse and a poor sensor. The weight was extremely heavy and almost felt unnatural, as if they intentionally added weight to it. The sensor works fine for basic computer jobs like browsing the web or not-so-fast mouse movements, however if you flick the mouse quite fast, the sensor cannot keep up and drags, usually downwards. The 2.4 ghz connection works fine, the cable connection is plain and simple, however I could not get Bluetooth connection to even show on the computer. The overall size of the mouse was a little smaller to hold than expected, causing my fingers to over-reach but not fall off the buttons. Overall build quality was well done, clean and elegant. Overall a great mouse for a retro-future like feel, just don't expect to use it for competitive-like fast-paced gaming.

Mouse works great with no accidental sleep issues
Connected via Bluetooth on MacOS 15.2, this mouse literally does not shut off if the computer is plugged into power rather than on battery. If that's your gripe on Windows, I'm sure Windows is turning off the receiver or mouse to save power. I haven't tested the 2.4Ghz receiver yet, but the mouse over Bluetooth is ready-to-go after leaving it overnight--without noticeable battery drain, either. The only con is, as per Lofree's website: "MacOS devices do not support forward or backward function in Bluetooth mode." When on battery, the mouse *does* go to sleep on MacOS. I will have to see how annoying that is but it further supports that it's a power saving thing. My advice regarding fixing unwanted sleep issues: Try Bluetooth if you haven't (get an adapter if you need one). Go into Device Manager on Windows, and disable "Turn off this device to save power" for the mouse plus the receiver if you're still using it. I have not yet used this mouse on Windows, myself.

Cool looking but has lots of issues
I bought this mouse because of the retro aesthetic and the appeal of swappable buttons. Unfortunately I ran into many issues with the mouse that were inexcusable. The mouse’s 2.4ghz dongle constantly had issues with disconnecting while in use as well as lagging behind at times. The Bluetooth mode faired even worse with the tracking becoming imprecise and would jump to catch up to where my cursor should’ve been. This left only the wired mode which I don’t want on my mice. Keep in mind I tested this mouse on multiple devices as well as compared it with other wireless mice I own and found these issues to be consistent. Beyond the technical issues are the design choices. The two side buttons on the mouse are positioned too low and constantly accidentally get pushed by my thumb which leads to lots of frustration. Additionally a huge appeal of this mouse is the customisation yet Lofree only has a few designs available on their site (not on Amazon) and don’t give the 3d files for these swappable parts of the mouse so I cannot print and design my own easily. I really wanted to like this mouse but these issues made it a horrible experience and I ended up replacing it with a Logitech mouse that works flawlessly.

Awesome
Great old school vibe & look. Adjustable DPI & the choice of BT, 2.4gHz, wired. Battery lasts forever and there is an auto shut off when you walk away or AFK. The little screen is also a nice touch and informative. Buttons click well lol, and the scroll wheel feels good. Feels like good quality.

Terrible User Experience - Not MAC compatible & stopped working after a few days of usage.
Stopped working after a few days of use Okay, first of all this mouse just under performs on MAC. It's marketed as a compatible device, but it's really not fully compatible. This was disappointing because I LOVE the aesthetic of this mouse. A few more issues 1) No key mapping - mouses at this price point typically have key mapping. Which makes these extra buttons kind of useless. 2) The scroll wheel is so slow and laggy - it's just not a fluid motion at all on mac 3) It wouldn't connected via blutooth to my 2025 macbook, so I had no option but the 2.4 plug in to connect it to. That was a let down.
