I bought this specifically because it has the XD card reader; I can use it to get pictures off of my old digicam. I first tried using it with my phone for convenience. It comes with three split cables: USB A, USB C, and lightning so it works with just about anything. However, it was cumbersome to get the card reader to work. I had to turn on USB debugging on my phone and disconnect and reconnect the reader to actually get my phone (Samsung S23 Ultra) to recognize it. After that instance, I have not been able to get the card reader to work with my phone again. When I plug it in via USB A to my laptop, it works perfectly fine. It is great that it works with the laptop, but it would be even better if it worked flawlessly with my phone, even if the issue is caused by a limitation of the XD card format.

I was looking for an adapter to connect an additional monitor via DisplayPort, and this one worked perfectly. I'm now running my laptop screen alongside two external monitors without any problems. After two months of regular use, it's been completely reliable. I'm also still using the original power adapter that came with my Lenovo laptop, and everything functions seamlessly.

I found a 20 year old digital camera among my mom's stuff when she passed away. After charging the camera I could view the old photos some of which were new to me, but I wanted to download the to my computer. None of my memory card readers worked with the very old card, so I took my chance and purchased this card reader. It arrived quickly and I was delighted to be able to save almost a 100 precious old photos !

My XD card wasn’t recognizeable after I used this and I can only assume it got scratched or damaged by this adapter. It was working fine before testing the adapter, then my camera/card was unusable after taking it out and returning it to the camera. Camera said “memory card not initialized” and now the adapter isn’t reading it either so I lost photos.

Meets expectations and makes transferring images from my cameras to my phone quick. Bonus, it's very compact, so I can keep it even in my smaller digital camera bag, using it whenever and wherever 👌

Unlike this product (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00R07WNRY?th=1) this item read Sony MemoryStick right out of the box. Plugged into USB, inserted the Sony Memorystick and VOILA! I was able to extract my old photos nigh on instantaneously.
