Update: I'm adding two stars because after the first rain most of the black algae was gone. 2nd rain left my roof lining like new! Impressive. The design is the sprayer remains awful! First. Why are there parts and pieces tossed in the box and tied to the bottle? WTF am I suppose to do with them? The requirement to hold the bottle to turn from off to water to on is an awful design! I probably washed a lot of the product off my roof before I was able to get it turned off. Then, because the design is awful, I found myself holding the hose and nozzle while the bottle sat on the ground. Yep. The nozzle was steadily spraying without the bottle being attached. When it was finally over. Thank goodness it was over, I was soaked. Why? Because even with all gaskets in place, I was only able to get the hose connected right enough one time to stop drips and sprays of water. Functionality is awful. I live in a 1 story ranch and the sprayer had a hard time reaching the peak. Yes. I definitely needed a ladder. I will say that the product did release a lot of dirt from the shingles. Time will tell if it will clean the black mold. It became a little windy as I neared completion so I can tell you it didn't taste too bad and the smell is pleasant

Follow the directions, and spray when dry outside. Like the directions say, it takes wind, rain, and time for the green to fall of, but it instantly dies and turns brown not long after spraying. Then I noticed as the weeks went by the siding just resorted back to it's original color. Some reviewers have not had the best experience with this, but I have and it has been the easiest to use. You just spray it on, wetting everything liberally, and then you are done. Don't keep beathing in the fumes because it is irritating and don't get it in your eyes because it burns. I wear a simple N95 mask and googles when spraying. Also, they say wash off plants with water if it gets on them, but I move any plants away that can be moved. I find it to work faster when you spray your house on a hot dry day.

I used it last summer and it worked great for most of the summer yet I noticed I needed more 2 months before the snow hit!!!

I was very skeptical when I ordered this but when it arrived I read the directions and used some on the roof shingles on our shed and I also used the rest of it on our aluminum carport roof where it had gotten a ver black stain I am guessing from the leaves or rain so i sprayed it on one comple side of the roof and the carport is 22X20 so it's pretty good size and inhad just enough and after a couple or 3 weeks i could see the stains getting lighter and then about 2 months much of it was gone and by the end of the sixth month the stains were completely gone so this summer i am going to repeat the process just to kind of stay ahead of the stains

Wet & forget is one of my favorite products. We have brick walkways around the house, under massive water oaks. It goes down very fast, meaning you must walk the area first to set your pace, so you don’t put down too much. Then you switch the nozzle to rinse off any overspray on ferns and other ground cover. This happens as fast as you can walk. The only thing I don’t like is the way the nozzle works where the hose is connected to the bottle. It has on/off positions that are hard to see, and as you wave the spray nozzle around, it goes from off to on without you knowing it. Not good when gently rinsing off vegetation along the sidewalk. Their previous nozzle worked great. This one has a better spray head, but at the expense of losing control when rinsing. Nevertheless I’m giving it five stars because I am willing to fuss with it until they figure it out. There’s nothing else that saves so much time to get siding, porches, yard furniture, and cobblestones looking their best.

I have used this exact product before, and I should have done a better job at looking at the size of the containers. Therefore I was surprised when these came and were almost 25% smaller than the ones I used last time, while being more expensive (talk about shrinkflation)! Just be aware of how much you get when ordering this. In the past I have needed 1 bottle to coat the 3 sides of my house that are shaded, but I needed to open the second bottle this time. I expect this will work just as well as it has in the past, but won't know for sure for several weeks. I used it to spray the siding on my house where mold and mildew is visible. This product does not work immediately, but cleans over time. I expect this to clean the siding in the next 4-6 weeks. If it cleans faster or slower, I will try to remember to update this review. The description states this has a range of up to 30 feet. I have excellent water pressure, and I only got around 20 feet of range. It was adequate for 2 stories, but would not reach the peak on the gable ends. I had to use a ladder to get all the way to the top. There are 2 settings on this nozzle - fan and jet. The jet is a misnomer as it is a basic spray pattern, not a jet stream. The fan is mostly useless. Using the fan nozzle, I barely made it to the top of the 1st story (at best). This was better for something like a fence, but is pretty worthless for the side of a house. The instructions are pretty bare bones. They state the nozzle is not included, but it is. The nozzle comes in two pieces, but they don't tell you how to assemble. It seems straightforward, but the tube has 2 notches on one end and none on the other end. The instructions don't tell you which end goes in the container, and which end goes into the nozzle. Be careful if during spraying, you get this on windows. After the product drys, it is like looking through a haze. It drys semi-opaque, and you need to then clean the windows to see clearly. I love the Wet & Forget products, but am not thrilled with the smaller amounts that cost more than in the past. I also wish the nozzle range was actually 30 feet instead of the 20 feet I got.
