Love it! Almost to a fault!
I bought this because a previous black light solution gave out on me—I’m always looking for rechargeable, and lately I’ve been choosing USB-c just because it’s so standard in my house—I hate having to swap out cables just to charge one or two items in my house! This light is so intense—I tested this out in my bathroom since it was the darkest room in my house and I had a glow in the dark item I wanted to charge up. So yeah…I discovered I didn’t clean up some vomit from a bad night of drinking five years ago. Love the size of it as well—it’s a nice handheld size, but not so large it wouldn’t fit in my pocket with a couple of other every day carry items.Functionally, it will be one of those things you will never realize you needed until you have it within reaching distance, and it’s going to last me quite a while for sure!

Great battery, rechargeable. Great for cars, and for RAVES.
Great light, rechargeable. Shows me everything I need to know about the room. I also use it for cars, certain fluid glow. It's not heavy at all. Super easy to use, a button to press it on and off, and you can turn the Lense to concentrate on a spot.I would recommend this for my fellow mechanics. Plus, it's also fun to just watch things light up.And for my RAVE fans. This will super charge your glow stuff.

Loads of fun in the classroom.
Love it. Loads of fun in the classroom. Easy to use. Durable. Covers long distance. Worked on white clothing, honey, neon highlighters, rocks (fluorite, calcite, sodalite, and willemite). We made art. Wrote notes. Drew all over ourselves. (A student put a mustache on me.) Pretended to be FBI. Looked at rock kits. Talked about wave energy. Lots of use and then just plugged it into a laptop to recharge. Recharged every class period, but class use can be extensive and punishing in middle school.

If you are a germophobe or have OCD
I’m guessing that if you’re looking at products like this, you’ve seen some sort of commercial or video in which a person in a dark room points out germs or fluids highlighted by a UV light. I was one of those people let me tell you you think you buy a UV light because you wanna see all kinds of fluids and things that are not visible with the plain eye in your bedroom and bathroom, etc. but then you get this thing and you are seeing all kinds of fluids and germs and things in your bathroom and bedrooms and it’s actually a bit of a nightmare now …

Absolutely great little flashlight!
This flashlight is really neat! It’s part of my EDC assortment of flashlights i have. I love that it comes with an 18650 battery also. Easy to use and super cool switch button lights up with a green cobra when activated. Definitely recommend this if you are into hiking and camping sorts of thing too, I got it for seeing things at night (aka scorpions and other critters) while camping and curing resin. Just playing around with it at work during break for the review.

Good value
This is a tough little flashlight. I bought it, and a similar model in 395mm wavelength for rock identification, finding pet stains, testing money, and a dozen other uses. It’s more than bright enough for my uses, it charges quickly, and the battery lasts. Good value.

This is NOT a 365 NM UV B Flashlight
First of all, IF this was advertised as a 395 NM UV A flashlight I would have given it five stars. It is a good value if it was marketed as a 395 NM UV A light source. If marketed honestly - this is an awesome 5 star product. But marketing this as a 365 NM UV B light source is a travesty. A UV B 365 NM light source produces zero visible light. This produces plenty of UV A, but it comes with so much visible light it almost looks like a standard LED flashlight with low batteries. There is nothing discreet about using this light source. It is obvious, you are holding the source. If you need a true 365 NM UV B light source, this is not what you want. Go get the UvBeast 365 NM light sources. They cost more, but are true UV B. There is no visible light emanating from these. But, if you need UV A, and can tolerate a fair amount of light bleeding over from the visible spectrum, then this is a VERY NICE product. It is a good value, it is well-built. The spot to wide angle zoom works well. I really like that. It allows surveying a wide area and then quickly bringing more illumination on things of interest. The picture shows my everyday carry LED flashlight next to the the item being reviewed. No trick photography, that is how much visible light this Darkbeam flashlight produces. This is totally unacceptable for a product advertised as UV B.Again, this is a 5 star UV A light source. But as advertised, at 365 NM, it fails. Even the instructions get it wrong. They describe the 365 NM UV B as "a bluish light". The human eye will not detect UV B. However, parts of the human eye will fluoresce under UV B, but this is not the light emanating from the UV B light source. The instructions go on to say "UV-395" is a violet light. No, violet is a visible color, their UV A LEDs produce some violet and this light source does not filter it out.
