I'm diabetic (type 2 diagnosed about 20 years ago, but now insulin dependent, and a "brittle" diabetic to boot and using a continuous glucose monitor) and need to have high quality sugar quickly available to deal with low sugar situations. These rolls of dextrose are just the ticket to arrest falling blood sugar. And they taste great in the bargain! 7 grams of carbs per roll, and 2 rolls will get my blood glucose leveled out when they're in freefall as shown by my CGM. I'm not able to locally find these consistently, so when I found them on Amazon, I jumped on them.I carry several restaurant sugar packets, and about 8 rolls of Smarties in my diabetes test kit that are explicitly for the low sugar situations described above. When used, the stocks are replaced at the earliest opportunity. The 5# bag of Smarties is in my pantry waiting for the call.

Perfect size for a two day trade show. I work for a technical college. We didn’t want to pass out those small suckers because the dum-dum name didn’t instill confidence in student abilities to be successful in college. But give away smarties, and talk about learning new skills just seemed like a perfect match. These tasted just like I remembered when grandma used to give them to us in church to keep us quiet. There were a few rolls, maybe 3 , that has come open in the package and allowed some candy to freely float around inside the larger bag. But we just tossed those out. Great product for our purpose. Will buy again for the next recruiting event. Package was good and April heat in South Carolina didn’t impact quality.

Of course you want some. Nice big bag great for Halloween or a big household.
