Yes it's designed for painting on metal, especially iron and steel. Whether or not you'll like it's visual effect is another thing altogether. Perhaps do a test by painting just a small area and letting it dry then see if you like the aesthetics of it. However there are specialist radiator paints out there that you might investigate.

Can you use on internal wood & is it waterproof please?

I would think that you can use indoors too and waterproof. Best to read the label on tin.
