I found the Magic Strings!
I like this stuff better than natural gut. The thin guage makes it easy on the arm (I had elbow surgery about ten years ago to remove bone spurs and still have arthritis in the joint). I switched to Ace after the surgery. It has good pop on the ball and power and great control. It really pockets the ball (the thin string) when you are hitting with someone who can generate some pace. At times I feel like I can do anything with the ball while playing with this string. Easy topspin. Biting slice. Excellent touch and control. I tried playing with natural gut after my elbow surgery, but Luxilon Ace beats gut in every category: power, control and definitely durability and of course price. I use a classic 95 sq. inch thin-beamed 12-ounce player's racquet (Gamma Tradition 18 and Gamma G325) and I string the Ace at 42 lbs. If you are a young and strong player you may like it tighter. Below 42 and performance falls off, and above that and it becomes too tight for me to get the feel and pop I like. If you have an all court game this string is perfect. Lots of power from the baseline, great feel and control in the transition, and good pop and control on the volleys. And great power and spin on the serve.

Perfect strings for closed pattern rackets.
Great poly strings for tight pattern (18x20) "player" type rackets stung in the 40lb range. I use them in my Head Prestige Mid and Phantom 93P. Smooth, controlled feel on impact and good spin. Maintains tension well and lasts a very long time time without loosing playability, which justifies the price. Also great as a cross in ngut/poly hybrid stringjob.

Was okay but
Was okay. I’m a flouro user and thought these would feel about the same but at a cheaper price tag. NOPE, not even close. Did not have that crisp, controlled, dialed in feeling I get out of flouro. I should note that I string everything at 56 lbs and I always hybrid with a softer synthetic gut in the crosses, like: prince w/duraflex 17 or Gosen OG-sheep micro 17.

VERY good strings.
VERY good strings. Give you a nice amount of spin and power same time, all while retaining your control. They are not tough on your arm, and they last quite a while. Very pleased with them.

Power without feel
Not for the touch player. Reasonable power delivery. Had very little bite and didn't last long. Hard on the elbow.
