GM CLIMBING 16mm Nylon Sling Runner 22kN / 4840lb CE UIAA Certified

I am a cell tower technician in NJ. I purchased two of these slings from GM Climbing and they are exceptional, great quality products. I use the slings for multiple purposes from holding pales, radios, antennas to attaching my safety hooks. This is my 2nd time purchasing these and they are just as good as the REI ones I have purchased at a better price. These straps don't rip or fray at all and I have lifted 1,000's of lbs with these and to be honest these are my go to straps when I want to rig something in a hurry and get it on the tower.

This is a nicely sewn web strap. Great color. I'm just starting into hiking and I wanted to put a few things in my pack in case of an emergency. That way, if I got into trouble, I could hopefully get myself out, instead of having to chew my own arm off. Or, use them to help someone else if i came upon them and they were in trouble. However, it's not wide enough for my purpose, which was to use it as a potential rescue strap, to be placed under the arms and around the body. I can't fault the seller for my lack of awareness of just how wide 16mm actually is. I should have done some kind of conversion. I'm hoping I'll be able to find a use for the strap.

I mean, sort of saved my life. I wouldn't have gone climbing with out the correct gear, and really I haven't had a fall yet this season, so take the title with a grain of salt. It works, It is a good item. Idk, If you need it get it. I like this one because the price was decent and the shipping was fast. Maybe another one is for you I think you have to make that call yourself.

It’s not what it looks like. The harness worked GREAT. If not, he’d have been in trouble. His assender got stuck out of reach. He hung for close to an hour before he decided to call for help (don’t climb alone ppl) but the harness kept him in place til I could rescue the man.

I've been needing a few more slings and these were perfect. Great length, feel strong and stable, and they were very affordable. I would recommend them as I've used them for anchor systems and have not yet died.

These are strong and well made in Taiwan, not China. The democracy of Taiwan is capable of high quality manufacturing, and these straps are a great example. The stitches are perfect and the straps are thick and very well made.

Fab for setting up rigging for smaller limbs and pulleys etc . I carry them in a daisy chain on my rear clips . Love the colour . The amount of black ones I've lost over the years !!!!!

Great slings. I use them for my kayak and they do their intended job. They seem high quality and should last a long time.

Make sure it's the length you need (these are very short loops). Definitely what I needed.

Very well made. Great for use as lanyard or foot loop.
