I bought this for my breaking cue. It was getting a little rough being that my whole team uses it. 10 minutes working the grits and applying the sealer in Sheen coats did a miracle. Better than new. Would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to renew their cue shafts. Siskel and Ebert gives it to thumbs up

This pool cue cleaning set is just what it’s called “McMagic” had a Mccdermott gcore for the last 4 years built up chalk and other small particles in the shaft. Used the shaft cleaner and the green pad after I was done cleaning then buffed an finished with the “ultra glide” my shaft looks 10X BETTER !!

Size was a bit deceiving in the ad. Pieces are all smaller than they appeared. But it all worked well and the instructions on the paper were good to show the stages of use for the paper and liquids. They all helped each of my cues to get back to a much better feel.

Simple and quick. Watched Mcdermott video prior and my results were satisfying, Shaft was smooth, clean and felt new after few minutes. Use bottles sparingly they're pretty small. Negative is pricing but overlooked with results so far.

Used this on my 30 year old McDermott cue, and couldn’t be happier. I followed the instructions in the video on the McDermott site, and my favorite cue stick looks and feels like new. Yes, it’s pricey, but it works! Now I just need to figure out how to get the linen wrap replaced.

I pulled my new(ish)custom made stick out of my case, and there was this... stuff... on the shaft that made shooting next to impossible. My cuesmith is really busy, so getting my stick taken care of before my next scheduled match, was just not gonna happen. This kit cost about what I would have paid to have the shaft cleaned and polished, and I've cleaned and polished 5 different shafts so far. They look and feel amazing. I have a really important match this weekend and I don't have to worry about how my cues are gonna perform.... If only I didn't have to worry about myself!

Just about everything you need. After cleaning you need some wax which isn’t included. But the products included work well.

I had my G-Core shaft turned down to 12.4mm and it had an open grain feel in areas that the tech couldn’t get out after trying three times with me there. I ordered this kit and followed the instructions and that shaft became slick as glass. That was over a month ago and still going. Great kit from McDermott!
