Good quality pen mandrel. I've used it a few times. It comes with bushings for turning.

Good quality set for pen blank turning it is all you need for connect to your lathe . Make sure to get the right one the MT2 is for lathe with 3/4 hp or more the MT1 for smaller lathe machines .

Great value. Made my first pen on it with great success, and intend to make many more.

The set saved me a lot of money and everything has worked well... EXCEPT for the drill bit. If you buy this set, get yourself a proper "pen maker" or brad point drill bit. The one in this set has a completely rounded tip that causes it to wander and drills the hole diagonally. Other than that, it's a good bundle. If they changed the bit to a brad point, I'd give it 5 stars.

Home run here. Works great and no damage after a dozen pens

Does not include a knurled nut for the tail end of the mandrel, and the barrel mills are less than well made, the machining in general for this set is not so good. The 7mm drill is not totally straight, but that can be worked with, however it came to me quite dull, and the case this was all packaged in was cracked and broken. The drill was damaged getting the case opened, thus, not well packed. Everything is together in one hard plastic sleeve type case.

Comes complete and has the longer 7mm drill bit

The mandrel kit works great ,So far i have made 25 ken kits with it with no problem ,I would buy again .

Used on Axminster hobby lathe, and good fit with 2MT tapers. Recommend using mandrel saver, ensures good support, so worth extra cost. Also used 10mm bushings for cigar pen components, and good fit.
