From the moment I unboxed the DJI Mini 3, I was impressed. The packaging is clean and premium, with everything neatly organized and secure. You can tell DJI puts real care into their products.The drone itself is incredibly lightweight and compact, yet it feels sturdy and high quality. Setup was quick and easy even as someone fairly new to drones, I had it in the air within minutes. The controls are smooth and intuitive, and the app makes flying even easier.The camera quality is outstanding. Crisp 4K video, smooth footage, and vibrant colors, even in lower light. The gimbal does a great job stabilizing shots, and the vertical shooting mode is perfect for social media.It’s packed with smart features like intelligent flight modes, auto takeoff/landing, and return-to-home. Battery life is great too I get plenty of flying time without constantly recharging.Yes, it’s a bit pricey but honestly, it’s worth every penny. Whether you’re a beginner or looking for a compact, high-performance drone, the DJI Mini 3 is an incredible choice. Highly recommended!

I love this DJI mini 3 drone and the controller, it's a game changer from having to connect my mobile phone to a controller to control the drone , this new set up saves time and the screen on the controller is clear , easy to see and the controls are better and easier to use, also the signal is much better with less drop out in signal quality, less warnings when flying in built up areas than I was having with the DJI SE mini 2.Also this DJI mini 3 drone has 4k video capabilities so the video footage is much improved over my last drone the SE mini 2.Also with the added bonus of true vertical footage at the touch of the screen to change from vertical to horizontal filming for use on Instagram, tiktik and other platforms, youtube shorts also uses vertical so it's good to have the choice.I found it very easy to set up , I definitely recommend getting the care refresh it's added peace of mind and means I can replace the drone without having to pay the full cost.Its still very portable at under 250g , it fits into a case well with the controller to take on my hikes and camps, I can have it in the air very fast , just connect the small screw on controllers turn both devices on and it's almost instant to be able to fly.This drone isn't cheap but it's still good value compared to some of the more expensive drones, true vertical shooting , clear 4k footage, less signal warnings, good stability in windy conditions, obviously not really strong winds but you get to know quickly the wind capabilities of the drone it can handle quite a strong wind.The footage is brilliant, for a small compact drone it's a very good starting point for outdoor filming with a drone.It needs a memory card, just need to be careful landing on grass the drone can flip as I've found out , best landing on a landing pad to be safe, battery life is OK but a second battery means more air time.The drone stays stable and films steady footage.

Despite its small size, it boasts impressive features like a 4K camera, 38 minutes of flight time, and intelligent flight modes.**Pros:*** **Portable and Lightweight:** Weighing less than 249g, it's easy to carry and doesn't require registration in most countries.* **Excellent Image Quality:** The 4K camera captures stunning photos and videos with great detail and dynamic range.* **Impressive Battery Life:** Up to 38 minutes of flight time means you can spend more time capturing the perfect shot.* **Intelligent Flight Modes:** Features like QuickShots and Panorama make it easy to create cinematic footage with just a few taps.* **User-Friendly DJI RC:** The included remote controller features a built-in screen, eliminating the need for a smartphone.**Cons:*** **Screen Brightness:** My biggest gripe with the DJI RC is the screen brightness. It's simply too dim, especially in bright sunlight, making it difficult to see what you're filming or where you're flying.* **No Obstacle Avoidance:** Unlike the Mini 3 Pro, this model lacks obstacle avoidance sensors, requiring extra caution when flying.* **Limited Range:** The transmission range is decent for a mini drone, but it can be limiting in areas with interference.**Overall:**The DJI Mini 3 (DJI RC) is a fantastic little drone with a lot to offer. It's easy to fly, captures great footage, and is incredibly portable. However, the dim screen on the DJI RC is a significant drawback that can hinder the overall experience. If you can overlook this issue, or plan to fly mostly in shaded areas, the Mini 3 is a great choice. But if a bright, clear screen is essential for your flying experience, you may want to consider the Mini 3 Pro or a different drone altogether.
