Chef Works Unisex Butcher Apron

Considering the price, this is an excellent apron. I work in a gas station and end up making sandwiches every day while also needing to carry around a small handful of tools to do my job like a notebook and pen, nips to cut zip ties, lip balm, etc. The pockets on this apron are decently sized for my needs and I don't need to dig around too much to find the tool I'm looking for. The waist ties are long enough I can bring them around to tie in the front (I'm 5'4" and about 155lbs) which allows me to hang a hand-towel on the string. I've washed it many, many times and it comes out looking nice every time. The ties are starting to show a little wear after so many washes. Color is true to image, a nice, deep blue. The only things I would change would be that I would like a cross-back option because the weight of my tools pulls on my neck uncomfortably, and maybe a loop for my towel instead of having to use the waist tie. I may need to partition off the pockets a little more to keep my tools more organized, but that ought to be easy enough to pull off with a little sewing.

The fabric is fairly heavy, good quality. Covers your entire front to below the knees. Fit is fine, two big pockets on the front, I use them for shop work, not cooking. Tie length is good. Bought a red apron not considering the fact that they come in colors. D’oh! Check it out! Giftability? Certainly. Not a cheap looking gift. Recommended.

This is the perfect apron for waiting tables. The pockets are huge and easily hold my tablet, pens, and checkbook without feeling bulky. It’s super durable, comfortable for long shifts, and washes clean every time. Highly recommend!

Looks good, like the adjustable neck. but haven't had chance to use it yet. Sturdy fabric looks like it will protect you from spills and splashes. However, ties not long enough to allow me to tie it in the front of my 44 in. waist.

A little pricie but worth it

I’ve tried several different types and different brands of black aprons. These have been the best. Durable material yet not too heavy. Maintains black color through multiple uses and washes. Great length. Pockets large and in a comfortable and logical spot. Ties are long enough to double wrap around which is very helpful as it’s more convenient to tie them in the front of your body. Adjustable neck strap is helpful. I’ve been using these 4-6 nights a week. I wash in cool or warm water and hang them to dry rather than using a dryer. This keeps the long ties straight and flat and neat as they are when first purchased! (Dryer can cause some curling) HIGHLY RECOMMEND these. Have purchased over and over! Thank you!

the apron is just as it is described. it is red and has adjustable neck . It has 2 pockets in the front just as described. this was purchased as a gift, and it will be perfect.

The quality is good. Very few aprons are available in this color, royal blue, ina cotton/polyester blend. Thick. The only bad thing is that is smaller than the rest of the aprons. This will be perfect for a petite person. I use them for my business to personalize. This one being smaller in widtg /shorter in length. I put a 3 star due to not being sewn in one of the pockets. I had en urgent order to ship and had no where to find another apron asap. I had to sew it myself which took valuable time from working on my order.

I spent more time than I care to admit trying to choose an apron. Practical common sense said "get a dark color...preferably patterned" bc nothing looks worse than someone cooking in a dirty, stained apron. But I liked this color and I didn't want a plastic one. I made the right choice! I had soy sauce spatters on this from stir frying, AND red cabbage juice down the front. I put a hydrogen peroxide/dishsoap homemade pretreat on the stains and then tossed it in the wash. The stains are 100% gone! Plus, the ties are long enuf I wrap them around and tie in the front. Good coverage. I'm 5'5" and the apron reaches just past my knees even after the drier. I do pull up the apron when i tie it so it ends just above my knees...not necessary, I just like it that way. Very happy I chose this one!
