I didn't want the license in the middle of my grill which is the focal point on the Genesis CV 70 so I found this mount. It works great. Slightly off-center and low on the front. Does not interfere with sensors and meets all legal requirements.

Let me be clear that I like the product, but unfortunately, I had to modify to make it work for my application. It does work, but there are a few points I think would make it better. The bracket should have longer bolts or at least the option of different bolt lengths. Considering the price and how universal the application can work, the bolt/screw length is really hindering its universal usage. Second, it attaches to a plastic grill, which means it runs the risk breaking the plastic grill if you are not careful. Finally, I would also recommend putting spacers of different sizes, so it can work with different vehicles. It is the best option I found that worked with my vehicle but I had to get a bigger spacer, and longer bolts from my local hardware store to make it work. Considering this is also one of the most expensive brackets on the market, I should not have to do this to begin with. I do appreciate that it is made in the USA, but it is easily 2-3 times the price of other competitors. I’m still keeping it and I would recommend it.

Great product, did not have to drill holes into bumper.

On top of the directions not being readily available making instillation a bit of a pain, maybe a QR code on the back of your card linking to the video? Once installed it feels flimsy and like I have to take my license plate everywhere with me. Is there no included locking bolt for the license plate holder that attaches to the frame on the car? If it is just that 15 mm bolt that you screw then place the frame on and press down, someone can just pop the frame up and pull towards them and be gone? I hope I'm missing something and this wasn't some major mistake.

California requires front license plate. The dealer gives me a plate but I have to drill holes in my car, this plate allows me to be in compliance with law and no holes in my car, preserve its beauty and value. It links to the grill bar.

I really like this design of No-Drill Front license plate mounts. They are essentially universal to any vehicle that has a grill. I even have one of these on my truck.Now that I have moved to a state that doesn't require front license plates I got to uninstall these and see how they held up. They were in surprisingly "almost new" condition. The screws had little to no rust on them and everything came back apart really easily. Very happy with these mounts.

This CravenSpeed Platypus License Plate Grille Mount is the answer to my long search for front license plate without drilling.Previously, I have tried several and opted for front tow front plate mount. But this too was a struggle since every now and then I have to retighten the screws and it is a process.What’s great about this product, it comes with everything you need to mount the front plate except for the socket wrench for the main screw.The plates are made of solid and heavy steel with powder coating preventing from rusts. This really feels well made, tough and good CNC cut. It is heavier than most front plate and wished it was slightly lighter.The screws are easily attached onto the front plate and there is a round receiver that tightens on the back of the plate. I didn’t have to use any other tools on the back side of the plate to help tighten the screws. This is well thought out design for easy mounting.The round plate has a rubbery attachment that helps with ensuring there is no scratches onto the surface you are connecting.My only wish with the hook is to be slightly larger hook. The hook is plastic and much smaller than the picture in advertisement. See my pics for the size of the hook. For my WRX the hook is just bearly fit my front grill.So far I had not needed to re-strengthen the screws and didn’t need to add any thread locks onto the screws. The license plate mount has been stable.It is on the expensive side. It is made in USA and you are supporting local businesses.
