Good Product.
A well made product, which has an expensive feel to it. It certainly helps to have the extra length cable as the cable which comes with the H/drive, is very short and a little restrictive! A good buy.

Brilliant product. It is so much better and tougher then the cable that came with my passport. Extra cable length is a bonus.

cable works fine (longer than the original one that came with the portable hard drive which failed after a few months of use) bought two i for my son and one for my portable hard drive , both long so able to place on work top better than having drive sit on top of computer when in use.

Cheap and useful
A 1m USB3 cable for this price is good value if it does the job. I needed a longer lead and so I ordered one, despite some adverse reviews, and found it connects my Mac mini with my WD My Passport drive perfectly well, with no problem. Maybe it doesn't fit quite as smoothly as the supplied WD cable, but I've plugged and mounted and unplugged the drive a number of times since I've had it, and never had to reseat the connections, so I'm perfectly happy with my purchase.

Made a great difference
HD My Passport obviously did not think through its future customer base with the progression and size of the smart TV. This lead enables you to place your HDMP sensibly by your TV and not leaving it dangling from the back of the TV with the original very short USB cable supplied with My Passport. It does what it says on the tin but this should have been an unnecessary purchase.

Totally faulty
Gives me an I/O error every time I try to copy files over to my WD external hard drive - after testing everything else, it has to be this cable :(
