One of the better looking minimalist chronograph watches out there.

- the big thin hand on the main big dial of the watch is NOT actually the second-hand. it's part of the stopwatch. (chronograph). the second hand is in the lower small dial. that's lame. i hardly ever use the stopwatch- the date doesn't change the second when the time becomes midnight on a new day. the changing displayed date is a gradual progession over like 11:45pm-12:05am. and often, the displayed date changes too early. which means it could display the next day's date if the time is like 11:50pm.- you have to reset the date on the first day of every month if the previous month had less than 31 days because the number of days in each month isn't programmed into the watch. and you can't directly change the date. you have to actually adjust the hour and minute hand and go through 24 hours for the date to change to the first of the month or if it's the first of March, you have to go through 3 or 4 days to change the date to the first of March.- it's just a plain watch. just the most basic, plain-jane design. just white background with the junghans logo on it. and a simple metal frame. no embellishments or adornments.- the watch band is made from horse leather. there's no reference to animal welfare on the junghans website. which means a horse has been killed to make this watch band. that's disgusting- i had it for only about a year and half before it started malfunctioning. after then, it hasn't kept reliable and accurate time and i have to reset it almost every day. for 700CAD, you could get a much longer-lasting watch than this.- the people who make this watch are scum. they refused to honour the warranty. they advertise all their watches having a 2-year warranty. that's total bull. they won't honour your warranty. they'll rip you off. they say junghans is "the german watch." these guys don't have a german bone in their body.- this watch is just SO fragile. if you bump it ever so slightly or if you press the buttons of the watch in too hard, it'll display an inaccurate time.

As beautiful as this watch was when I received it and how well made it felt, the chronograph began to malfunction after just one hour on the wrist. After another hour, the watch began to lose 10 minutes every hour. Had to return it.
