I Ordered this case to replace a very expensive Lifeproof case that my 16 month old daughter has broken ( apparently it can’t withstand a teething child chewing the side and pulling the seal off the scren ) . I really wasn’t impressed with the lifeproof durability and didn’t want to pay the hefty price tag again so set about trying to find a waterproof ( very important with a toddler who steals my phone and only last week covered my entire phone in vomit ) case and a case that completely encases the phone and protects the screen and against drops and bumps . £16.99 seemed far to cheap to offer all this protection however the case seemed pretty similar to lifeproof. I decided to order one and see and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised what a brilliant case it is and actually prefer this to a lifeproof . I like the clear back so I can see my iPhone . The case feels nice in my hand and makes it easy to handle . I did the water test as instructed and the paper was bone dry . My daughter has already been testing it for chewing and dropping ability and so far my phone and the case look like new .Only small negatives are that the side button covers are maybe a little sharp and stiff compared to its pricier rival and the charger cover isn’t as easy to open as lifeproof but for £16.99 it’s a brilliant piece of kit . My husband was so impressed he ordered one for his work phone as he is a clumsy sod and he also is very happy ! 10/10 , 5 stars !!!

I bought this to replace a Lifeproof case that I had owned for a couple of years. I found it surprisingly difficult to fit: in particular the first couple of times the mute button did not work. However I finally managed to sort that but the mute button is not as easy to operate as I would like. Unlike the Lifeproof case for an iPhone 6, it is possible to use non-Apple charging leads and that is a huge help. The case is slightly larger than the Lifeproof one but not so large that I want to take it off (I leave the phone in the case the whole time, rather than just use it when I need the extra protection). Another advantage is that it has a lanyard (the Lifeproof case does not).I have no idea as to how waterproof the case is. It feels less waterproof than the Lifeproof case but I need it only to guard against snow (when skiing) and it should be fine for that. If it were not for the mute button I would give the case five stars.

This case looks great and is protective but not bulky.I have not tested the waterproofness of it but looking at the way it completely seals around my phone I would assume it works well.I got a phone case to protect my new phone if any liquid is spilt on it or it gets immersed in water accidentally.I researched which case to get for a long time and this case seemed good value for money and had good reviews.I would recommend using a glass screen protector with this case as the built in one is just thin plastic. If you use a thin glass protector the case will still fit snuggly around your phone.Negatives - it is hard to open the case and get to the charging and headphone ports. But this is because the openings are meant to be water tight so I can live with this.Also the screen does get very smeary from fingerprints and the the ‘swipe up’ function does not always work.However this case meets my needs and works for me so I have given it 5 stars.

Excellent product. I tested the case has instructed. This gave confidence the seal design, fit and usability would work for my valuable iPhone. Used in anger in Barbados for 2 weeks this item became one of the ‘must have’ products. Each night I removed the phone to charge it, with a small teaspoon, which gently prised the two parts of the case apart. This was to make sure the charging port cover would remain solid and create no ‘weak points’, within the design. I tested the phone case again for the 2nd week (with tissue paper has instructed) which proved 100% sealed.Each morning putting my phone into its case. Keeping sand off, water off, the touch sensitivity was excellent, volume, on/off buttons all felt secure and confident. The seal design, material are excellent. Now back off holiday I use the case for my iphone when Stand Up Paddle Boarding. If you require a confident, well designed and manufactured product, I would suggest you have found it. Highly recommended and at this price an absolute bargain for your valuable phone. I’m very tempted to buy a second one for future use when the first one starts to fall.

I was a little skeptical about this case - given how reasonable the cost is - I followed the instructions carefully and tested it first in a bowl of water with a cup on top for 30 mins - with tissue inside (not the iPhone) - and 30 mins later took it out of bowl, took the case apart and the tissue was bone dry !Next I put the iPhone in the case - again carefully and made sure it was in correctly - then lowered it into a water butt whilst it was taking a Video - again all good and the iPhone was dry when I took it outLastly was the big test - we went Kayaking with it - and I took pictures in/out of water - and some 1/2 in the water and half out - again worked as described and the phone stayed dryI'd advise using the case only when its likely to get wet and not all the time - as I think repeated opening/closing of the charging port cover may mean it looses its water-tightness

I think this is a decent case, but unfortunately, the waterproof seal for the camera area somehow split apart and water got into my lens. The rest of the phone is fine after it dried, but now I’ll have to fork out to get the camera on my phone replaced. I’m going to purchase my old ithrough case I had for iPhone 5 but for this phone instead. I went swimming/snorkelling in the Maldives and it was fine. Shame about the case, it has good grip and a neat float wrist float that came with it. However, I can pry the case open with my hands so not sure how waterproof safe it is. At least with the ithrough case it wouldn’t budge unless you use the key provided to open it. I think something like this does make the different between waterproof or not. I’ve had this case less than 1 month. I’m sure for general use at home it will be fine.
