Exactly what I was looking for. This fiber patch cable plugged into one of my network switches and media converters so I could reliably tap into my network for service on my laptop. Mechanically, the latches hold as any other brands should. The cable allowed me to work from a desk, some distance away instead of having to crowd myself next to the rack with my laptop. The only difference I would note compared to our in house branded cables is that the insulation is thinner with this one. This may reduce the lifespan of it since it will be traveling with me, but any semi-permanent installation should allow it to hold up fine.

I posted a picture of what happened when a small dog chewed an un-armored fiber cable. The inside glass fiber was broken and this cable is trash. These armored cables are a good value and made to protect the inside glass fiber even if a little dog did chew on the outside plastic.

Reconfiguring some network equipment, we needed the ability to handle our internet without disrupting business with disconnects/reconnects. For the less than ideal situation, this patch cable was perfect for what we needed. The connectors held well, even with moving/jarring equipment. The jacket (and I presume core/armor) all held up well even when ... less knowledgeable ... individuals did stupid things. No kinks or breaks, even with some very rough handling. Ultimately, it is a LONG patch cable that I would have no issue with putting into full-time use. For now, it served its purpose and is going into storage.
