Heavily celebrated Grammy Award winning band Old Crow Medicine Show announce their new album 'Remedy', due out via ATO Records. 'Remedy' is full of catchy melodies and quirky and often humorous lyrics, all executed with mesmerizing musicianship. Ten years after the massive success of folk anthem 'Wagon Wheel', which started as a track on a Bob Dylan work tape later finished by fiddler band leader Ketch Secor, 'Remedy' Features a new Dylan / Old Crow penned collaboration, 'Sweet Amarillo', one of the album's many highlights. 'Remedy' also features the return of producer Ted Hutt (Flogging Molly, Gaslight Anthem), who produced 2012's highly praised 'Carry Me Back'.

A cure for all ills
There are some that say Old Crow havent been the same since Willie Watson left, but even if you feel that (Ien dont) its gonna be hard not to enjoy this album, the muscianship is superb. I dont think there's a bad song on here either it's very hard not to feel like stomping along to the up tempo numbers or even to forget yourself and find yourself doing a little jig whilst listening to it on your ipod in public. It's hard to pinpoint highlights theres at least 8 up tempo, bluegrass frenzies that are difficult not to like eg eight dogs, eight banjos. Dearly Departed Friend tackles a similar subject to Bootleggers Boy (off the last album) but slowed down and more reverent. Sweet Amarillo (like Wagon Wheel) written by Ketch using some lyrics sent to him by the living legend Bob Dylan. Like most songwriters Ketch acknowledges Bob as a huge inspiration. If your feeling ill or just down in mood then this album and this band is the cure.Looking forward to the roundhouse gig theres 6 of us going and three have yet to see the awesomeness of OCMS live they are just bloody superb, Im hoping I convert 3 new fans to the wonders of this band and old timey music (eg old crow, Pokey Lafarge)

A brilliant album! I wasn't really sure about it at first, but as I listened to it a second time I started to love it more and more. Pretty much every song is awesome, and together made a great album for a road-trip or anytime you need your spirit lifted.I can literally listen to it again and again. Highly recommend to anyone who likes Old Crow Medicine Show and Country music in general, this has the feel of that good-old country album to it.

Great musicians, great songs OCMS never disappoint
They're always good. They have penned 13 great new songs, including a new collaboration with Dylan after the success of Wagon Wheel. Still the same energy since losing Willie Watson. All the other old faces and some new ones making a bigger line up of seven.

As good as I've come to expect from OCMS
This is well up to the high standards of the OCMS's previous albums. A great blend of rollicking foot stompers, sweet ballads, and 'The Warden' provides a more downbeat, reflective conclusion. Without a doubt the best bluegrass band around at the moment.

Their best and strongest album yet
One would have thought that OCMS would have gone away by now. No chance of that judging by this. Their best and strongest album yet.
