We needed a way to call the kids when they were upstairs in the media room with the door closed. These were easy to set up and work very well. Exactly what we were looking for!

It's not always super clear but it works and we can finally communicate in our 3 story house without having to yell or to call each other on our phones. I would buy this again in a second.

This is a great intercom with clear audio and a long distance between units. I used this to replace an older wall outlet type communicaing thru the AC circuitry of the house. The fact that there are antennas it greatly expands the distance between the units.

This system works great! We can all talk at our house now matter what floor we are each on without picking up a telephone.

They work! We had purchased older Radio Shack intercoms that needed to be on the same circuit in order to work, so did not work for us, so this is a nice difference. Oddities: the volume buttons, when you press them to raise and lower the volume are extremely loud, not going up and down in volume themselves as expected. And the quality of the sound is not super, but they work and we are happy enough!

I set two units 40 feet apart with three plaster (not sheetrock) walls between them. I spoke normally and just a whisper was heard at the receiving unit. I spoke much louder and the receiving unit sound could be heard but was very distorted. At some middle voice, speaking at about 12 inches from the unit, the receiving unit sound was quite weak but intelligible. I think the microphones or the electronics on these units can't handle much dynamic range. The speakers are not the problem because various electronic beeps and chirps are quite clear and extremely loud.I returned them and ordered another brand which claims a 1 mile reach and costs more. Intercoms will never be hi-fi but the sound must be intelligible to be of any use.

Works good between my house and my shop so the wife and kids can communicate with me while I'm out there working I can hear the call Tone over my air compressor and welder. A bit staticky so I don't feel the range advertised is as accurate as what they say.

Mic barely picks up your voice. The station number you want to talk to keeps reverting back to your station number after use. After resetting station numbers to be more convinient, units did not work at all. $95 for 3 units, its not worth it. Very disappointed.
