Arrived Defective and Dirty
Even though the AC adapter indicated that power was being received by the brick, the base unit failed to power on in any way when plugged in. The pitcher also arrived with black grease lining the inside seam of the lid that was very difficult to remove, avoid this product!

Ease of use
The 2l capacity makes for a once a day fill up. The digital control makes for a quick refresh of hydrogenate water as I try to drink at least a l/day. The family enjoys the taste.

Should be described as Alkaline water maker
This unit is Garbage. After 2L of water was treated for long as 40 minutes, it had 0 hydrogen in the water using Blue 2 test drops. It adds no hydrogen to water as described. Poor description, disappointed.

Pitcher lacks the advertised PEM and SPE membranes
My unit as shipped had neither PEM nor SPE membranes inside the pitcher. I was suspicious when I heard something rattling in the bottom of the pitcher. When I removed the base of the pitcher, underneath the blue plastic dome at the bottom, there were only several dozen white and gray pellets I'm assuming that to properly function, a PEM membrane must be inside the pitcher itself, in order to hydrolyze the water. The lack of one makes the pitcher effectively useless. I have already contacted the vendor for a full refund.2/6 I have upgraded my rating solely based upon the prompt refund issued by Synteam. However, I still don't have a fully working unit to evaluate.
