Pleased with purchase!
I purchased this item as I was concerned that the furnace may have been leaking a little gas. After it arrived, I immediately tested the furnace, and was relieved that there was no issues. I actually liked it so much, I purchased another one as a backup. Great value for the price as well, easy to use, and perfect size. Great quality as well.

Found my gas leak immediately!
The small size is great for keeping in my kitchen drawer. I have a 1928 gas stove so it is either on or off but when it was off, I was smelling gas. Ordered this for next day delivery and found my gas leak and fixed it before there was a major problem. Since the leak was inside, it was not the gas company's problem... I also have a truck camper and we take it with us for testing our propane tanks and stoves to have piece of mind.

Excellent tool for vetting installers work and gas connections/leaks.
Very sensitive sniffer. I tend to smell very faint odors where others can't and had just installed a new furnace. It had a small gas leak and the detector was able to find exactly where the gas was coming from...inside the new furnace, right at the burners, which meant the internal valve was leaking. Good piece of equipment to find exactly where gas is coming from. Other pros: 1. Extendable sniffer, very helpful and doesn't affect accuracy. 2. Rechargeable, nice that it requires no batteries to buy or eventually corrode the unit. 3. The light is helpful as well. 4. Hi/Low sensitivity seems to be comparable, not much of a difference, but both work great. Highly recommend.

Good Device
I've been an RV technician for 40 years. I've seen these devices come and go and I've owned several other ones. This one seems to work very well! I recently pin pointed a propane leak in less than 3 minutes with this device. The light on it helps alot too!
