we were going to use granite for our bar and the company tried to sell us these for over $200 for 4. This was a much better deal and nearly exactly what the counter company showed up. We ended up doing a wooden Acacia bar for now with a high gloss top. It still needed brackets so we used these and it worked very nice. Easy to use if you know what you are doing. They haven't bent and support that entire bar well. Ours is over 12'.

searched for bar top supports from lowes and home depot plus countless other options. looked on amazon and found one but saw these in others viewed column. these had the best price, this whole set was the same price as the cost of just one of these from lowes. measured once i got them and the dimensions described ,matched what i got. i used them on an 8ft wide 1/2” thick wood bar top spaced apart just a little further than what instructions said but still worked very well and very sturdy. i would recommend making sure drill bit you use fits snug i did strip out first screw head thinking it was right size, removed it and went one size higher and worked great. it did come with a few extra screws so wasnt too concerned. overall great product would highly recommend over higher priced products that are similar. also shipped fast even showed up a day earlier than expected with prime shipping.

Worked great for half the price! We have a 15" overhang on our island. The brackets really hold the weight.

These are 1/4" steel brackets and they worked as described. Not much can go wrong with a purchase like this. Kind of like buying an anvil. One important thing to note is that these types of brackets come in both a 1/4" style and 3/8" style. The 3/8" version is sometimes shown as 10mm. Be sure you know which you are purchasing. 1/4" is usually good for most applications, however if you have a fairly deep overhang (16" or deeper), I recommend either using the 3/8" L-shaped version for additional strength, or if the 3/8 won't work because you can't accommodate the extra 1/8", I recommend placing the 1/4" version at 12" centers or less. It's not rocket science, but for an extra $60, you may save a very costly repair in the future.

These supports definitely did the job at a fraction of the cost. I installed these in my 4’x10’ island during the remodel as a “just in case” support for the one piece quartz countertop. The finish was not perfect, but the supports themselves are strong and structural sound.

Other than a couple chips in the paint they work as expected.

It looks very sturdy. It is holding my quartz (very heavy) bar top very well. Price is excellent. I would recommend this to a friend. Easy to install, you can use a oscillating tool or chop saw. I used a dremmel with a router to carve the groove and construction glue. The bar top is not going anywhere.
