The material is weighty and substantial, and feels much more expensive than it is. The shape/silhouette is very flattering whether you wear it opened or buttoned up and tied around the waist. The length is down to below my knees, I am 5"2'. Some of the negatives would be that the buttons are a bit loose and seems like they could fall off in time as you keep using them. I'd probably just go in and tighten them with some thread myself. Also, DO NOT iron this coat as it will cause the fabric to "melt" and shrivel. Use steam to get those wrinkles out after you take it out of the packaging, I sadly touched a bit of my iron onto the chest panel as I was trying to steam it and it left a melted imprint that I can't get rid of now..I would also recommend to order one size down if you're trying to get a more flattering and fit look. I returned the medium that I usually order my coats in for a small and it looked and felt a lot better. Other than that, I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend!

Elegant coat, lovely. True to size, buy your normal size. I bought medium but will return for large so it is not too tight on me. I am in between sizes M and L, 157lbs. Traveling to Switzerland and this is perfect. Worth it for the price.

Beautiful shade of blue. Fabric heavy and nice quality. Great style for hourglass figure. Understand other reviews about the buttons but as long as dont have stress on them I think they will be fine. I am 5'6" and 160 and ordered the large and it is true to size.

The jacket is excellent quality and material for the price! I wish it came in more colors because I would order it in every color! It’s heavyweight so it keeps you warm in 10 degree weather and it’s very slimming as well.

I bought this coat while looking for an inspired Queen Elizabeth II look for celebrating 100 days of school! It’s true to size…order up a size if you have broader shoulders which I do have BUT since I did not order up I only wore a blouse and skirt underneath the coat to reduce bulk.Still looked fabulous! The color is perfect for wearing in the Fall/Winter/Spring! Love it! Highly recommended!

Much to small for an extra large. Had I had on a blouse, jacket and skirt or pants instead of a long-sleeved tee and exercise pants it would have been even tighter. Length was good.

You can wear it with the lapels opened or closed for an even more polished look.Keep in mind these coats aren’t meant to be tight!! They have form and shape that’s meant to follow yours! With poise, they’ll give off a royal air. Try belting it in the back only to give lightly cinch the waist without compromising the look on the front.

I like everything about this coat with two acceptions. 1) I wish there was one more button and 2) the method of packaging created some serious wrinkles that I have not been able to get out, you can see on the front bottom it looks a little lumpy. I am 5'3 and 155lbs, wear a size 10. This was perfect over a dress or blouse, but a bulky sweater probably wouldn't look too great, but it's a dress coat.....😜
