My go-to work shoe!
I have been ordering these for years everyday work. I am mainly at a desk but I often have to go outside and load cargo and these shoes are perfect for moderate lifting and they are built to last. My last pair wore out with two years use 40hrs a week. I'm sure there are more sensible work boots or shoes but these are priced perfectly and I love the look. I have always been a vans fan and will continue to purchase!

Perfect for my needs
I ordered another style of shoe and it was out of stock and it is still not in stock so I settled for this shoe. Sometimes things happen for a reason. I love this shoe. I wear an orthotic insole in all my shoes and this shoe easily accommodates the orthotic and the shoe is stylish. It looks great with jeans and it has a solid feel so I can use it for short hikes or long walks. Because I spend a lot of time outdoors and in casual wear, this shoe is a good choice. Love these shoes! Super simple, bright, and fun! Only downside is the white rubber around the bottom gets scuffed pretty quickly but it's easily manageable with some spray cleaner. They're also not the warmest shoes but that's expected due to the materials. It's very comfortable, and it came in less than a week. I suggest getting the exact size you wear for your other sneakers. Great for girls and guys! They also come with white laces. I got the ones with yellow laces, but the white came too for free. These are some fresh kicks. They are incredibly comfortable. They lace up so low on the foot that you really don't have to tie and untie them. They're basically slip ons. The only problem I can think of is that one round of frisbee in freshly cut grass stained the white rubber lower trim green.

High quality as always with Vans.
I beat up shoes and I'm cheap. After 30 years of cheap shoes that quickly fall apart after getting used, getting wet, getting washed or just getting worn, I decided try Van's again. Fit perfectly true to size right out of the box. No painful wear in period. The canvas allows my feet to breathe much more. I do get my shoes dirty quickly but after three washes, so far, no problems at all. I really wasn't saving money all these years. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

ok but doesnt last long
I bought these shoes a while ago because I heard they were comfortable and you could wear them with pretty much everything. When I got them, the laces were not tied on, so I looked up some youtube tutorials on how to "swag lace" them. I'm really klutzy about following tutorials, so i blame myself that they looked like a total mess at the end. After that ordeal I decided to tie them normally, which didnt look as good as I hoped, but still worked. Ok, let me just say...these shoes are heavy! when you put them on, they kind of weigh down a bit. If you're used to wearing nike free runs or flip flops or whatever, you'll probably feel a difference. The soles of the shoes are rubber and quite chunky. Overall i enjoyed the shoes. A couple months in though, they started wearing down, and then faster and faster. The rubber part was constantly being chiseled away, and there were little flakes of rubber that were falling off. After another week the shoes were rapidly turning an unpleasant brown color, despite how many times I had scrubbed them and avoided making them dirty. Then a hole formed in the back. After that, the back of the shoe, the part that supports your heel, peeled away like a banana peel. Then the laces frayed, and after a while it looked like I was wearing a piece of junk and I stopped wearing them. So, overall, I suppose they were good shoes, if you're one of those people that doesn't mind buying a new pair of them every few months or so. Make sure you take good care of them so they'll last longer.

Order at least a full size up from your shoe size in Converse.
The only reason I'm not giving these shoes 5 stars is because the women's 10.5 that I ordered fit smaller than a womens size 10 in converse low tops. This is my first pair of vans, so I should have done more research on the exact sizing specifications. I love the color, love the quality, I love that they were delivered a week early, but I'm just upset that they don't fit like I expected them to. I'm going to either exchange them for an 11 or even an 11.5 because these are very tight! Or try my best to stretch them out.I stuck my big toes up in the last photo so you can see that my toes are touching the tip of the shoe. Also, I've included a side by side comparison of the vans size 10.5 and the converse size 10 (with tongue tag pictures as well).

Simply, a great pair of shoes.
The Vans authentic line are suitable for almost every occasion.Personally, they’re some of the most comfortable shoes for day-to-day activities, and they’re fairly hard-wearing considering their style, and the use I put on them.During periods where I’ve worn pairs of these as my sole pair, (work, errands, day to day etc), these have lasted a solid 6-8 months, and would certainly have lasted longer, had I cared enough to run them through a washer and clean them up a little.A truly great choice.
