Good read
Having read the first book in the series I thought I would try the next. I enjoyed it very much although sometimes the technical stuff is too much. Enjoyed it though and now starting book three.

Adventure
Just loving these characters and series and glad I found these books so I can binge. I love S.O.B. can I take her for a spin one day please. The characters are well rounded and believable with lots of great characteristics. Karter as the mad scientist - you just can’t stop the guy, even though he’s practically being dismantled and apart from all his electronic parts he just keeps on giving those rascally terrorists trouble. Lex is the super pilot who can practically fly through the eye of a needle, and often does! Intrepid investigative journalist Michelle is at hand to add her expertise to a band of soldiers including Garotte, Silo and Xerk, a part robot/part organic killing killing machine. There are plenty of genres to hold your interest, sci-fi, humour, romance and adventure. What’s not to love 💕

Great science fiction
A thoroughly good read, the plot kept me fully rapt on wanting to keep reading. Loved the comedy aspects also.

Great stories
I read Lallo's "Book of Deacon" trilogy al little while ago and thoroughly enjoyed them, so I decided to give the sci-fi a whirl.I was not disappointed. These are excellent stories; fast-paced, witty, and very engaging.I've knocked a star off because both suffer a little from distracting editorial issues. A little bit of polish would get that extra star. Some examples - ordnance/ordinance, sink/sync, and due for do in a couple of places. Some other typos as well; just enough to be irritating. And finally, please, please, please stop using "off of".

I purchased this book after getting the first in the series free. In that one I really enjoyed the computer and the funk and was delighted to find them both together again in this book. These are stand alone stories (books where you are enticed to purchase a second one to get the end of the tale are a pet hate of mine and I never do it) and I look forward to reading more from this author

Great follow up to Bypass Gemini
I am a big fan of Joseph's work, particularly the book of Deacon trilogy. I really enjoyed Bypass Gemini though so thought Unstable Prototypes would also be good. It was. I like his writing style and the characters, particularly Karter who is everything a sociopath should be! Am looking forward to the next one.

Great fun
Enjoyed reading this. It has action all the way through and a great storyline. Characters are good but for me the relationship should have been taken further
