Exo Terra Faunarium, Plastic Reptile Terrarium, Small, PT2255

The Exo Terra Faunarium Plastic Reptile Terrarium has been a great addition to our setup. Its small and compact design makes it perfect for our needs. We primarily use it to store crickets for our bearded dragon, and it does the job exceptionally well.While the lid can be a bit difficult to open at times, this minor inconvenience is outweighed by the overall functionality of the terrarium. It’s easy to clean, which is a huge plus when dealing with live insects.One thing to note is that the plastic does discolor over time, but this hasn’t affected its performance. After three months of use, it is still holding up well and continuing to serve its purpose effectively.Overall, I would highly recommend the Exo Terra Faunarium to anyone in need of a compact and functional container for small reptiles or insects. It’s been a reliable and practical solution for us!

Aggravated is an understatement. Open a crested gecko and many of the items I purchased including her terrarium are all from exoterra. Their products are always top notch. I just needed something small to keep her in while I clean out her terrarium. So of course I went with exoterra and this medium sized enclosure However, to my EXTREME disappointment and annoyance It came with no lid!!!! NONE ! REALLY?? Not quite sure I can place all the blame on exoterra this must. This could have also been an Amazon fulfillment issue but really how ignorant does someone have to be? I'm aggravated that I have to purchase something else and the fact that I have to return this.

This is great for a 3-year-old that likes to collect little critters. He isn’t gentle and takes it everywhere. Will definitely hold a toad and a few lizards.

These are really great and luckily sturdy enough to both arrive safe and sound, I purchased 2 because often these types of aquariums arrive cracked, ended up with a spare because both were perfectly wrapped, which was lucky for me because I ended up finding a second cool spider in my basement.The day before I bought these I found a poor, very docile little male spider (unknown species) trapped in my wash machine, I decided to keep him to show my entomologist neighbor for identification. I named the spider Maytag and kept him in a Parmesan Cheese container until these arrived. Sadly my neighbor hasn't ever seen one of these guys either but happily I found a very large female a few days later, so I named her Mrs. Gardener and I'll be printing out pics for my neighbor to show his colleagues to compare both genders.The clasps on these containers is super tight, so any escape prone animals will not be able to open it. The spiders are very docile, ground dwelling, funnel web spiders so I don't have to worry, although Mrs. Gardener is trying to make her webs higher and higher each day so I'm very glad for the strong clasps.

-This size feels slightly a bit small for a adult leopard gecko male.- Good to travel with- Quality is good- Lid is hard to get off and on- Storage capacity is good- Color is correct and good- Fairly durable, I wouldn't kick it but I'd be comfortable using it to go to the vet in terms of it holding things.- Easy to use

All i can say is look at the recent reviews. It have a high overall rating but most new reviews are low star reviews and cheap product issues along side my no lid issue.They are sending a replacement, now waiting for and fingers cross the same mistake dont happen again. I got the bottom only. I will update if nice or not when i get it, the base seems nice but still lacks a lid and the lid parts.UPDATE they sent a replacement and same thing no lid. no lid parts either. Waste of time.ANOTHER UPDATE after 2nd with no lid, i went to return again and had two options, one to return and get a replacement and one to return to put on my card but since it was the 2nd replacement i made a claim on it was saying $0.00. I had them call me twice and both times, it played music and then nothing and after about 10 mins hang up. One of the calls i ended b/c there was no music and said 1 min wait and 2 min wait so i was not going to sit there with no music wondering if it will ever get picked up. After the 2nd call i chatted with them and it was really hard to talk with a real live person. They were understanding. Full refund. I said i wanted another but if it comes with no lid then no, but after 2 attempts its highly unlikely it will have a lid. They said dont worry about returning and refunded me and gave me a month of amazon free back. I went on to order another same brand off another site and waiting for that in the mail.Now today randomly now a week later just about and there came a box from amazon and inside was a tank with a lid and the lid taped to the top and a note saying it was a set. So i did end up getting the tank and lid. I had the same one before and not the best but not bad for 10 bucks. Changed to 3 stars but the lid issue.... The price is good but the hassle is still an annoyance but i was not expecting the tank to come today. I did order another identical tank from another seller on another platform but it has not even been dropped off to USPS yet so this 100% came from amazon and marked as so. Thumbs up Amazon for making it right. This was a product sold and shipped by amazon. Not a small vendor.

Works well as a travel carrier for my baby corn snake, and I intend to use it as a separate feeding container too. The holes in the top are small enough that I don't think the snake can fit through. It's nice to be able to see what's going on inside. Handle works fine, lid fits snugly.
