Wire for wire, color for color, exact plugin
I put this in to replace a blown relay on a 2003 Carrier 58CTA090-16 and it worked perfectly. Installation was a snap, the defaults on the blower timeout and such were the same as that from old board, and the wires colors and the schematics matched my furnace--and the old board--exactly. It took a day or two too many to get here, but Carrier wanted $600+ for their board. I wasn't in a crunch, so all good.A small update. I did have some problems with the furnace with the new card. It's likely just because the card is really good, and now quite a bit more sensitive to sensors. So far it seems to be 100% the furnace, not the card. Still, I used the tech support email, and they didn't seem to know the product that well.

Worked like a dream for 1/2 the price (or less)
Okay, I don't usually leave reviews right away, but this item worked perfectly and saved our cold bacon at a price point we could afford. If it were to crap out suddenly, I'll come back and update, but right now I am positively thrilled with this control board. An HVAC guy I used to trust wanted upwards of $1250 to come out and install a new control board (he also wanted $180 just to sell me a hot surface igniter, which I wanted to replace before moving on to the control board, so I no longer trust that guy). So I started looking for a Carrier 58TUA080-10014 control board HK42FZ017. That board was selling for $500-600 most places. I found one at $450, but didn't know the online supplier. Then I found out this board replaced my board. It's identical to the HK42FZ017, and it was simple to install after watching a single YT video and reading the instructions included with this board. Just make sure and label everything (and take pictures before you start), and you should have no trouble. Make sure and run the test after install by jumping the two spots with a piece of insulated wire. It'll alert you to any other issues.Anyhoodles, it started immediately, and it's run perfectly ever since. It's been four days now, so again that's kind of early to be giving five stars. But after being at my wit's end, I'm appreciative of this board and its price. I spent a week constantly restarting my furnace multiple times a day while I searched for an affordable option. This was that option.

Carrier Weathermaker 8000
I am not an HVAC tech but do have a background in facilities maintenance and engineering. This control board was listed as a replacement for the OEM board: HK42FZ015 on my very old Carrier Weathermaker 8000. Anyone with some DIY experience, basic tools and a multi-meter can install this board with no problem. If you take your time, read the instructions and using the multi-meter to perform continuity tests on the OEM board wires. You can mark groups of wires together to make sure all wires are accounted for and have a destination on the new board BEFORE disconnecting the OEM board. I highly recommend taking many pictures with your phone before you disconnect anything! This board was less than half of the cost of a new OEM replacement board. I had replaced the OEM board once before a few years ago with a used OEM board from Ebay but it seemed to have the same problem as this latest board; the HSI (Hot surface igniter) relay failed.Per the instructions perform the onboard test before you connect the thermostat wires. This will immediately let you know if something is not connected correctly.

Great Customer Service
This ended up not being the right board for my purpose as it is for a single speed furnace. I am not an HVAC technician, just a DIY homeowner. The seller was very helpful responding to my text almost immediately, helping me determine the correct circuit board for my furnace.

Excellent product especially like that it came with a new ...
Purchased because of flood damage. Paid for quick shipping and came in on time. Install was simple and took a total of about 30 minutes. Everything plugged in perfectly from the old board to the new one. After i installed I did get a code 34 and 14. All i had to do was clean the flame sensor with tissue paper and everything fired up perfectly. Excellent product especially like that it came with a new wire harness as well. New sticker labels to put on the furnace was also great. This board is much cheeper than the original, so all around I am very happy. I would advise anyone who is going to do this to take one wire off at a time and attach it to the new board as you go, take your time and remember to turn on the gas and flip on the furnace switch once installed.

You might hesitate. You don't need to.
Worked perfectly for my Bryant 80T furnace! Great replacement board at a fraction of the cost of the original part! Box has instructions printed on the interior. Comes with stickers for wiring diagram, status codes, etc. Hardest part of the replacement was disconnecting the old board. This one went in with ease. It's also worth noting that, until my furnace died a week ago, I knew nothing about furnaces. I found a solid source of information online, learned all I could, did the troubleshooting, and decided to replace the board. Finding this part at this price was incredible.

I would recommend over the overpriced OEM
I installed this board in a furnace it one of my rentals a couple of months ago. It was easy to install and has been working very to date. If this board holds out I would buy it again for another furnace. So far I am very pleased.
