Got this for my mother who when she seen this she loved it. I googled the brand before getting it for her to make sure it was a quality brand and wow oh wow. COLLEEN ROTHSCHILD is premium brand. My mom Knew exactly what this was when she seen the box. My mom only uses this on special occasions. I know when I see her using this that something important is happening. She has told me many times how smooth this goes on. It doesn’t clump up under her eyes or smear which cheaper brands do. If you want a premium set this is for you.

This kit definitely contains fantastic basics worth having in your collection! The liquid eyeliner is phenomenal. I usually prefer using liquid liners with a brush tip, but even with a felt tip, this eyeliner allowed me the precision and control I normally see with a brush. In addition to that, it’s wonderfully pigmented, giving a perfect deep solid and slightly shiny black without any need to touch up any spots that come out too sheer. And one thing that’s incredibly important to me as someone who’s been doing a cat eye religiously for years, it doesn’t feather at all. Additionally, it has fantastic longevity, even lasting throughout my endless applications of eye drops that can wash away some eyeliners, and it still cleans off easily at the end of the day with the included micellar water or an oil cleanser. The eyeliner pencil is a great, pretty standard, pencil. It applies smoothly with good color payoff and blends well with a smudger. The micellar water is also a great, standard micellar water, that cleans things off well. The packaging is where this stands out. It really is a wonderfully convenient bottle that works so well for applying just the right amount to a cotton round and keeping things clean so I don’t end up with micellar water everywhere. My only complaint is with the mascara. When I first opened it up, the brush came out with all the bristles flattened down to the stick and coated in way too much product. By working it in and out of the tube a few times I was able to get everything separated and some of the excess product removed. From there it applied well. It’s not terribly volumizing, but the description of it doesn’t claim to be, so I don’t hold that against it. It does keep the lashes well separated, with no issues with clumping, creating a pretty wispy, but still very dark black and defined look. However, the longevity is pretty terrible. Even on a normal day of sitting at my desk, after a few hours, I’ve got raccoon eyes. This mascara transfers both onto my upper and lower eyelids terribly and for that reason, I can’t see myself reaching for this product much. Overall, though, I was still incredibly pleased with this kit and would definitely recommend it. The products, pouch and packaging are all very high quality.

...or subtle. This kit does it all! Go glam, go subtle, go wild, go gothy - you can do it! This kit has everything you need, even the micellar water in a neat little bottle that fits right in the kit. I really haven't seen an eye kit that comes with the micellar, which is an essential for getting those sharp lines when you're doing some fancy eye work. You can't go wrong with the brand - Rothschild's products are always excellent, and richly pigmented. The price is a bit higher, but the quality products go a long way and last forever, making it a great value.

There is better or equal in quality makeup out there that does not cost nearly as much. My advice is save your money and research good drug store brands because I did not feel this brand had anything more to offer me that was worth the cost when drug store brands can offer me just as much for half the cost.

This kit contains everything you need for eye looks besides eyeshadow, which I don't use everyday anyway. The products feel good quality and apply smoothly, especially the smudgy eyeliner, and I like how there is both pencil and liquid liner so that you can do dramatic smudging with a wing. The pouch feels high quality and is a great addition to the products. I personally prefer cleansing oils but the miccellar water works too. I think this would make a great gift. Minor complaint would be that the box containing the products is a bit big and flimsy, doesn't feel too high end compared to the products. I'm glad the cost is in the products but if you're looking to gift this, that might be a consideration to make.

Liquid liner - almost holy grail level amazing. Does not pull, tug, bleed, or irritate my eyes. It lasts all day on my oily lids and cleans up with my face wash at the end of the day - literally zero complaints. The pencil is also amazing! Also does not tug, pull, bleed, melt off my face in this heat. It stays in place and I love the smokey looks I can pull with the smudge tip. Love how creamy and pigmented this is. 10/10. The micellar water is also great - the bottle is premium, I love the pump dispenser and it works well to remove makeup without needing to rinse. Love the formula. The bag to hold everyone together is super cute and I love the plush fabric that helps to keep everyone safe and secure inside. The worst part of this set????? the mascara. OOF. this is an absolute MISS. I have secondhand embarrassment at this point but I will start by saying the tube itself is luxe. It has a nice weight to it, I believe it's made of metal and looks premium. Once opening the tube the actual brush was clumpy, it was like the mascara is glue and I was super surprised considering it is approximately 10000000 degrees where I live --- it should be nearly melted. I scraped the excess off so I could test but I could hardly get past the scent. It smells like grandma's perfume. So incredibly strong and floral that I second guessed even trying it but I put it on and while I did like the color, it didnt do much for my lashes. I thought the scent would go away when the formula dried but it didnt. My eyes were super irritated, runny nose, sneezing, the works. I wore it for a couple of hours and gave up. It is not for me and I dont know why it is like solid perfume for your eyes. make it make sense please.
