Lift-the-flap times tables book

We are big fans of Usborne books, so when I saw this one on Amazon for below retail I was thrilled to get it for my little self-described "mathetarians". I have two children ages 5 and 7 who love to practice their times tables and read on a 2nd and 3rd grade level. This book is perfect for them (I would say 2nd-3rd grade reading level and up). The flaps are sturdy and well constructed and add humor and detail to the story. While this book would not be the only method I would use to teach multiplication, it is an excellent additional resource to any home library for families with elementary aged children.

This is a fantastic book for budding math-letes. I bought this for my 6 year old and he is loving it. Great visuals, superb construction. Usborne books offer some really unique, interesting, well made books across the spectrum from preschool through highschool. I encourage anyone stuck in the book rut with your kids to check them out. You won't be disappointed.

My 6 year really enjoyed this book. He loves math and learning about multiplication. The book is engaging and fun. It presents the info that is easy for children to understand.

Yes! This is great for a child learning times tables and a skill builder without having to let them be on the iPad (always a preferred). My child even wanted to challenge himself to guess the correct answers. This is a big deal for us, so definitely snag this book if you have a little one who likes details, and self led learning.

This book is a great visual and will definitely be helpful for my children. My 3rd grader needs to memorize the multination tables by the end of the year and she has been enjoying this book and it's helpful tips.

Made learning the times table far more enjoyable for my child. She loved the flaps and all the colourful images. My only complaint would be that the flaps can be pretty challenging to flip up. We had to use rulers and cards to open them up.

Great book. Perfect for kids just beginning to learn their multiplication tables. Lift the flps are fun and interesting and the questions and drawings are just right.

Got this for my 5 year olds. The book explains why using times tables they get to an answer quickly. Uses word problems and illustrations to explain to the kids how they can get to the answer

Fantastic book encouraging learning without realising both my 6 and 3 year old love this. 3 year old loves all the flaps and the pictures and my 6 year old is understanding and starting to like maths.

Excellent times table book — good even for kids younger than grade 2... my son is 4 and loves the questions and the little times tables tabs inside with tips

Super fun to read. Engaging and kept my 4 and 5 year old hooked for an hour! They started exploring timetables cause this book is so good at sparking their interest
