Absolutely amazing!!
I DJ parties and such on the side. I wanted something simple but with great clarity and easy to use. If you have a newer phone that supports LDAC, get this! I have very high end Mackie SRM V class speakers that are bluetooth already. However, they are 4.2 version bluetooth and best bit rate is 16. This little gem in LDAC mode supports 32 bit rate and 5.0 bluetooth. The clarity is outstanding! At first I plugged directly into my sub and out to the speakers. This gave me the best overall sound, but I wanted better control over volume and tuning. So I then plugged it into my DJ controller. It lost a little sound, I mean almost couldn't tell, but I chaulk that up to my controller being older and running off of the RCA plugs. Going straight to the sub, I was using the balanced 4.4 mm jack. Better connection = better sound. The range is pretty good. I tested it at the highest LDAC setting, 990. I got about 60 ft away before it started to break up a little. Highest setting means cleaner sound but less range. Tested at 660 setting and got about 75 ft away. Equipment was inside and I was outside walking away, signal was going through a wall too. The bottom line is... The cleaner the source is, the more quality audio will be produced. That's what this little rig is all about.

Hi quality sound and build and very fair pricing.
I have an old Sonic Frontiers tube stereo system that of course does not include any of today’s features including Bluetooth. So in order to take advantage of Tidal and Amazon music HD I was looking for a solution when I stumbled upon the iFi Bluetooth converter. I am very happy with it. The sound quality is uncontested great! Then I discovered that because my Samsung tablet had Oreo, it could and I did, take advantage of the Sony codec. The unit automatically senses which codec is available and switches to it if you choose. I also bought balanced XLR to 4.4m cable bc that is also built into the device. Sound quality is as nice as my CD player. The build quality is really nice. Aluminum case. High quality all around.Very happy with the unit and the pricing.Highly recommended.

Works great, sound is much better than 1Mii B06 pro
This is my second iFi product I bought, one Bluetooth headphone connector( xCan)and this one I feed to my stereo. The bluetooth connects really well and works a little bit better than the headphone xCan. Both are great products. I turn it on with my stereo and it connects right away to my phone. I connect to my iPhone which uses an AAC codec. I also connect to my NAD hi fi the optical connector, the sound is really great, But that uses my CDs DAC. The high end cd DAC sounds a little better, but not by much. Its a little hard to compare because i have to flip the switch from digital to analog on the ifi, so i have to move around the room.I did also buy the 1Mii B06 pro for a cheaper system. I put them both on my good NAD system and connected them both to 2 different iphones streaming radio @ only 128bps. Easy to compare side by side. The sound was much better on.the ifi. The Mii was ok in comparison, but Definitely not as good

ZEN Blue is definitely worth the cost
I very recently purchased the ZEN Blue for use in my home to receive the music playing from my iPhone to a 15-year old Yamaha receiver and 2 pairs of vintage Bose 901 Series VI speakers via RCA analog connections. This setup is used only for stereo music listening. The improvement in the sound quality was immediately available and impressive compared to the less expensive Bluetooth receivers/transmitters that I own and have used. The improved clarity and detail of the music brought out the best in the Bose 901 speakers. The ZEN Blue is quality built and has the input options for connection versatility. I am looking forward to spending more time listening to music with this setup.

All in All It's Pretty Nice
Good Points: The build quality is excellent. At this price point I was expecting plastic. It's all aluminum. There's no setup and it linked immediately to my Note 9. Then Zen works well and has very good reception range. I used the optical output so I cant comment on the DACS. The sound is pretty good.Could Be Improved: When my Note 9 gets out of range it disconnects. It doesn't re-connect automatically. I think the Note 9 is really at fault. I have to punch a couple of buttons to get the Note 9 to re-connect. But in the mean time the Zen is flashing an annoying blue light. So I bought a switch for the Zen (Search Amazon for ADA1125). I think the ZEN should come with an on/off switch. I tried going into the Note 9 developer options to improve the Bluetooth codec. Unfortunately I couldn't find a better option than the aptX that it's using. iFI says that LDAC and HWA will be included in a future firmware upgrade. That's going to be interesting since I don't see a USB or Ethernet or other appropriate connector. Also, there's a very low pop at the beginning of each song. Impossible to know where in the communications chain it's occurring. Last niggle - the antenna should be black. (Easy to replace if it really begins to bother me).

Sound quality and bluetooth connection
When the package came, I was surprised how heavy it was. Inside I found a very well made, metal, heavy IFI adapter and larger than I expected. It worked very well. I hooked it up to my Adcom amp and the Ohm i speakers. I was amazed at the sound quality. Excellent. All my old CDs in my iPod have now come alive. Works easily with cell phone and laptops. Easy to connect. If you are looking for a blue tooth adapter that is also a great sound card, you will be very pleased. Little expensive but given the quality constriction and sound quality it is easily worth with it.

Excellent Paired with Zen CAN!
My small £70 tube amp failed on me and I thought I'd take a gamble on this, together with the Zen 'CAN' to drive my headphones for watching the tV is listening to music on TIDAL. I was actually sick of seeing it in 'Top 10' reviews and I would immediately skim over it, since he design didn't appeal to me and it looked tacky.I couldn't have been more wrong. It's got a great build quality and the sound through Bluetooth 5.0 streamed from TV and ipad (Tidal) is the crispest I've ever heard. Let's remember though that the Zen CAN is in the chain though too! Signal is seemingly free of latency. It did take me a while to get it working due to the fact that I needed to switch it to 'analogue' on the back. Two things really let this unit down: The button is a nice metal material, but it's significantly loose (it rattles) and it also spins. This spoils the build. This is also true of the Zan CAN which has many buttons. (Secondly, the 'ifi' central light which colours according to the signal being received has blurred text. This is clearly intentional, but it doesn't look good. The logo looks washed out. I've seen on their other models they are doing this to an even greater degree. I doubt people want to see a washed out logo in comparison to a crisp looking one.Connecting to a source, the unit announces in a female british voice what kind of signal it is receiving which is a nice touch - albeit loud and unexpected at times. The TV and ipad picked up the unit within seconds.Together with the Zen CAN, this is running my Sennheiser 660s really well. I'm really happy with the sound and the two units look great stacked on my table. Very Bang & Olufsen, I feel. Quality product and a great price. I'm really pleased I took the gamble.

Fantastico
