I’ve had this for a few months and so far it’s great and keeps water hot for a while. I had a similar ones no longer listed, that quit heating after couple years of daily use. This heating element looks cheaper, but so far it’s great. I only use to sterilize water and hit the on button a few times consecutively. It goes on quickly and cuts off at boil. It holds well over liter.

Review is for COMFEE 1.7L Double Wall Electric Tea Kettle. I was surprised that the kettle's appearance was actually much nicer in person compared to the product photos. Design is sleek and modern. The overall build quality appears to be solid. The flip-up switch has a built-in light to indicate when the unit is powered on (this was not shown in the photos). The interior steel vessel is a singular piece (like a thermos) and has no seals that might potentially leak (the corners have a small radius - no weld points). There are no plastic parts that come into contact with the water. Even the underside of the lid is one solid piece of metal. NOTE: my unit had a plastic and metal mesh strainer attached on the inside, which was easily removed via the plastic notches. The exterior is a nicely finished, glossy plastic with a solid handle. Looks like it should hold up well. Heating times (starting with cold tap water to full boil): 8m30s with cold water filled to the MAXIMUM line 3m10s with cold water filled to the MINIMUM line I have not owned the unit for very long, but based on the use I've had so far, I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nicely designed, 100% no-plastic-contact with water, budget friendly electric kettle.

My kids bought this for me as a gift and it absolutely does not disappoint. I love it and use it every day for something—making tea, heating water for a thermos, or even pouring hot water down the drains. It heats up quickly and pours perfectly with no boiling or dripping out of the spout. It’s become one of those appliances I didn’t realize I needed until I had it. So easy to use and incredibly convenient. I couldn’t be happier with this gift and highly recommend it.

This kettle works really well overall and has been a solid addition to the kitchen. It heats up fast, boils a full 1.7L in just a few minutes thanks to the 1500W power, which is perfect for coffee, tea, or anything quick. The double-wall design is a nice feature, keeps the outside cool to the touch and helps retain heat a bit longer. The all stainless steel interior is also a big plus, no plastic touching the water. Only downside is it’s a little on the louder side while boiling. Not crazy, but definitely noticeable compared to quieter kettles. Overall, great performance and value. If you don’t mind a bit of noise, it’s a reliable, fast, and well-built kettle that gets the job done.

It took a long time to find a to find a hot pot that didn't have any plastic parts that came in contact with the water. However It did have a removable small filter that was inserted into the spout that partially made of plastic that I opted not to use) From clear up some comments from past reviews, 1. The outside of the hot pot does not get hot to the touch. It's a little warm but nothing unusual. 2. It's not that loud that it would disturb people in another room. It does make noise but not any more from a previous pot I used. Granted I've only used it 3xday for a couple weeks but so far it's an excellent value. I was willing to pay more for any pot that met my criteria but was happily surprised to find this excellent value based on its decent construction and performance thus far. 6/3/25 UPDATE: After purchasing it last October, the water I now heat up has a metallic taste to it. Over the last few days I've been able to determine it was from the hot pot since the water upsetting my stomach.

It looks great, boils water fast, super easy to use and does what it’s supposed to do. No leaks, no Bad tasted and good value for the money. Size is perfect for everyday use.

Had the kettle for a week - works as advertized, no contact with plastic when the water boils. Min/max marks are visible from the top when filling the kettle. Heats up quickly, easy to clean and maintain, no funny taste.

What I thought was just heat discoloration, after a month of use, have found to be metal flaking off along the interior bottom of the kettle, visibly following where the heating element is closest to the kettle. Other than that, it's a fine product - heats quickly, exterior is well insulated, lid operates (not as described, manual operation needed to adjust when open, to the two described angles). It sold me on the concept of an electric kettle, and I'll be looking for one from a brand I recognize, and hopefully not made in china.
