Established in 2007, the group started as five musicians armed with a bass, a vintage piano, an MPC, a guitar and a saxophone they quickly improvised an urban quintet and seduced passers-by on the sidewalks of Aix-en-Provence. Thanks to this street band experience DELUXE acquired the spontaneity and frenzy that comes out in their on-stage performances and exudes in their compositions. They are the most talented mustachioed since Tom Selleck! Polishing Peanuts is Deluxe first EP on Chinese Man Records label. The band gained with the EP high exposure on big French TV and radios, even before it's release! The 6-track EP invites you to discover Deluxe's energy and eclecticism that compose it's musical world. Craftily mixing hip-hop with soul, funk or jazz..
