Genkouyoushi Practice Notebook for Japanese Writing: 9 columns, 1.5cm squares

This is really nice for writing Kanji, the paper quality is excellent which means I can use the specialist brush pens which are very ink heavy. The only downsidesolution are, of course, as it is a bound book it is difficult to write near the centre and also, it would have been great if the pages were perforated so you could remove them cleanly. This is not really a notebook, and without actually ripping the pages, it is difficult to remove them.

Good: the paper feels pretty good and withstands my fountain pen. It does the job, which is the main thing I care about.Bad: it is bound as a normal paperback book, not like a notebook. As a result, it's really inconvenient to write near the centre, and there's no way to rip out a page nicely.
