Great if your wife doesn’t want you to use her office/ summer house.
Let’s be honest, my opinion doesn’t really matter. My wofe told me to buy this and I did exactly what I was told. This purchase came almost immediately after I was instructed to build a summer house/ office at the bottom of the garden after she had watched an episode of “escape to the chateau” and liked what angel with a botanical theme.I wasn’t initially bothered about the home office but thought the ability to work late at night without bothering anyone could be a good idea. Then it happened...The thought of me using the summer house/ office drove her out of her mind and she immediately decided that we didn’t need electrics run down to it after all. We just needed a decent solar light to read by.This light is very good. It’s bright and lasts about 4/6 hours depending on the charge time. It’s definitely worth the money. If, and it’s unlikely...but if I decided to build something nice and then decide that I didn’t actually want to use it for any specific purpose again then this is the light I would choose.I’ve included a picture of the office to show just how easily electrics could have been run and connected.Maybe she hates me?

Bright solar light
Bright solar powered lamp. LED’s make it slightly directional, but can still light up most rooms. 2 brightness settings and a hook for hanging it. Perfect for shed, boat, caravan or tent and ideal to have in case of power cuts in your home.

brightness is ok, remote needs to improve
i bought this bulb for my garage, the length of the recharge cable is good (probably 2m?), i can stick the solar panel outside of the garage and the light bulb still could be placed in a good location inside the garage because of the length of the cablethe solar panel recharge the bulb well, but sometimes i need to completely turn off the bulb in order to let it recharge betterthe brightness is ok when it’s fully charged, but it will get noticeable dimmer and dimmer if i continuously use it when i need to work longer time inside the garageand one thing should be improved, is the remote sensor is at the bottom when the bulb hanged to the ceiling, make it quite difficult to receive the remote signal, i have to get very close (around 1.5m) to the bulb in order to turn it on and off, that make the remote control less useful

Good so far
The trouble with devices like this is that you don't get a true picture of them until you have had them a while. It is only then that you can answer questions like how reliable is it. I have mine as a shed light and it lights up my small shed very well indeed. It was easy to install and is easy to use. I like it a lot. I also like that size wise it is perfect for my shed. Time will tell if this was a good buy

Useful enough
I've bought two of these in the last year. The first one worked well enough for about nine months, but then seemed to lose its capacitance, and now only works when the solar panel is illuminated. The second one is okay just now, but perhaps will go the same way.On a positive note, even after dull miserable short northern winter days it manages to produce enough light for long enough, i.e. half an hour or so.Ideally the cable would be a couple of metres longer.

Solar
Had one of these before as well as another type and this one definitely works better and fairly good price would definitely recommend but do need a few days of light to fully charge up then works great
