Surprisingly Good.The base is advertised to connect to four cameras (for different angles) but there's nowhere to buy extra Smilism brand cameras. The company seems to be nonexistent outside of Amazon as well. -1 star

Received the monitor today. We used to have an Infant Optics DXR5, and this is by far an upgrade. The picture is clear, sound is great, temperature monitoring and the ability to talk back to my kiddo are added bonuses. Night vision kicks in quickly when the lights go out, and doesn’t seem to diminish image quality much.The cons: my house is old. There are exactly two outlets in my sons room, so to get the correct angle to see his whole crib, the monitor has to be across the room. A longer cord could have helped this. (It is 7 feet, but that’s just not long enough for our set up). If outlets aren’t an issue at your house you’d likely have no trouble with this.Set up was straight forward and extremely simple. Literally plug and play once you get it in the location you need.Will update if anything changes.

I don’t like this monitor at all! Sometimes it doesn’t come on when baby cries and the power button doesn’t work. You have to push it several times before it actually powers off. It is not made to mount to a wall well because the camera won’t flip up high enough to capture a bed. It’s really made to sit on top of a piece of furniture or something. The charger cord for the parent unit WILL NOT stay in the unit if you touch it. The monitor can not be propped up like a picture frame w/o the charger cord falling out, plus the cord is super short. It was way overpriced for the performance. The camera doesn’t zoom in, but that wouldn’t even matter because we can’t actually see the crib since we don’t have a piece of furniture to put it on. We basically us it as an audio monitor. Extremely unhappy with my purchase. :(

I can't remember the last time I bought a product that exceeded my expectations like this one has.As a caretaker for a 94 year old family member with dementia, this video monitor allows me to observe my father-in-law from any room in the house with a crystal clear picture, even when his room is completely dark. With the volume on maximum, I can even check his breathing!In the first 24 hours of use, I was able to catch him tugging on a medical device and intervene before any harm was done.Am considering buying a second unit as a back up, just because I can't imagine being without one anymore.

This is a Very good camera. Easy to Install and use. Very good sound and clear images during the day & night. It has 4 diff songs, and you can turn on and off from the remote, the sound is just perfect, not loud. You can also talk to your baby from the remote and increase and decrease the volume when the baby is sleeping and crying, so you can hear her at night. It also shows on display the room temp in C and F.

This is a great monitor with an even better price point. I originally bought a monitor at Target for upwards of $200 and it was nothing compared to this unit. This monitor has a very clear picture, good range, and sound quality. The plug ins for the camera and base unit are interchangeable so you can move the camera to a different plug without disturbing the other (mine is behind the crib so it is hard to move if we need to move the camera to the other room.) This one doesn't come with a second camera but I've read other reviews that there is an add on you can buy that has a slightly different name...might give that one a try too. I added this to our baby registry so we got an additional 15% off of the price at the time of our registry completion...even better!

I've had this monitor for 5 days and so far so good. I like it a lot. The resolution is pretty good and the the night view is great. I love that is small and you dont need wifi and you can go places with it, for instance if you go to someones house. I plan on taking it to my moms so she can watch her from another room while baby sleeps. I had a $150 monitor before that I ended up returning. This one is better!!
