I like everything about these beach towels. My home is in Hawaii and these towels are prefect for use in the Hawaiian environment. These towels are of a lighter weight than a conventional plush towel, but that is just fine since we often experience an onshore breeze here and we are dry a few moments after exiting the water. So a lighter weight towel is perfect. And the towel serves as a very stylish coverup and is perfect for use to dry my head and particularly my hair after exiting the water since that doesn't blow dry in the breeze as fast as exposed skin. So far as water absorbancy goes, these towels work just fine. But the Hawaiian environment is generally cooler and probably more windy than is, say, Miami, Fl. So while I love these towels using them here in Hawaii, I might not feel the same way if I lived in Florida. These towels are soft and comfy. They are wonderful. And I purchased these towels (both sets). They aren't some freebie that I am reviewing. I am just honestly impressed with these towels. Some reviewers have complained about towel size variations. In the accompanying photos you will see 2 towels each from two separate sets of 4 towels in one photo. In another photo I compare two towels, one from each set. Are there size variations? Yes, one set it slightly longer overall (by an inch or so) than the other set. Do I care? These towels are big and conformable. When I am walking around with one towel and my sweetheart is walking about with another towel, why would it possibly bother me that the towels are of slightly different sizes? You can only see the difference if you place them on top of each other. So take a look at the photo where a common design feature is shown for both a grey towel and a mauve towel. In this photo one towel is placed on top of another and you can see a difference. But that difference is inconsequential, at least to me. The bottom line for me is that these are wonderful stylish towels available at a decent price. What more could you want? If they have to be exactly the same size, then buy something else.

I bought this 2-pack right before our vacation, and I'm honestly so impressed. They're much thinner than my old fluffy cotton towels, so they saved a ton of space in my suitcase. The size is fantastic – they're genuinely oversized, so you have plenty of room to lay out. The best part is they actually do dry quickly! We'd hang them over the balcony rail after a morning at the pool, and they'd be dry and ready to go again by the afternoon. Sand also shakes off them way easier than our other towels. They aren't super plush, but they're soft and very absorbent. Great value for the price. Taken on a cruise and wanted to pack lightly these worked great.

These are great towels - absorbent, cute colors, dry quickly in the sun, large size, wash nicely. Not as bulky as the standard cotton beach towel, which is what I was going for. Great price, will order more.

***UPDATE*** The 6 that I bought that were just striped and no pattern to the stitching were very stiff/rough. That was the reason for the original 1* review. They had been washed twice already. Since I wasn't going to return them, I decided to soak 3 of in a 5 gallon bucket with two cups of fabric softner and water. I let them sit in the bucket overnight then dumped both into the washing machine (water, softener, and towels together). I ran the wash cycle and dryer as normal. They came out much softer. Because of the way they are sewn, I don't think they will get as soft as the other, but at least now they are not getting donated to the dog rescue. Another wash or two and I think they will be fine. ORIGINAL I have ordered 2 sets of these towels. My assumption was that all the towels are made the same, just different patterns. That is not the case. This specific towel is horrible. They are not soft at all and no way to make them that way. These are the ones with the solid color with white stripes. There is no pattern to the stitching. It is as if they are super starchy and no way to get them soft. The other set I bought is 5*. They have a diamond pattern to the sewing (look at the image details). They are super soft and comfortable. Excellent towels. You would assume towels in the same order with different colors would be the same. That is not the case. If you want soft towels that are great, zoom to the image to see if the stitching is in a diamond like pattern.

These towels were better than expected. The sand falls right off, they absorb enough water and dry really quickly. They are so soft and comfortable.. washes really well and lint free.. comes with a bag for portability. Can’t wait to use these more in the future.

These are great towels for the pool or the beach. Big and long and dry fast after use. Hold up well in wash.

Despite the 3 star rating, I really do like these beach towels. They're large, thin, comfortable, dry well, perfect for the beach or the pool. Unfortunately, I ordered the gray colored towels and received blue instead. Also, these towels are cotton (which I love) and after the first wash they pilled with little balls all over the towels, it's really not a big deal for me but they certainly aren't as "smooth" anymore.

These are perfect towels for travel. It takes less space in your suitcase and dries fairly quickly. I like the pale green color I chose. Very pretty. The size is just right for bathing and wrapping around a body and my hair. It stays in place. I love the ease of use and versatility.

Good quality linen towels. Size is as described no shrinking at all. Dries off quickly.

They're soft, quite thin, and are a good size compared to a regular beach towel, and dry quickly. The material felt noticeably better after the first wash. They come in a bag you apparently could put them back into (I don't see how). Would be great if you could get different colours in the one pack so you could differentiate which towel belongs to which person.

Excellent quality and beautiful colour. Lovely large size and soft material. Perfect as a beach or daily towel. Would also make a wonderful gift.
