I’ve used these before when needing the thickness of a new sealed unit (glass pane thickness, air gap, glass pane thickness) . They are brilliant & so easy to use once you get the hang of it. A lot of money but well worth the investment. I couldn’t find one any cheaper.

The item is to measure the thickness and glass make up of a double glazing unit. This works fine if the glass is new and clear but the items has many floors where it does not work and the seller fails to mention the products limitations. Only works on clear glass, does not work on any obscured glass, does not work on failed or misted double glazing units, does work if the glass is wet from rain, the lazer if very light and hard to see on sunny conditions. You cannot simply take this device on every survey, the glass and weather play a key parts. It is not worth the money. Advert stated Amazon 30 money back guarantee, sell states non fundable and although excepted my return now refuses to offer and money back, total rip off.

Very good device that is compact, lightweight and simple to use.

Supplier does not indicate that the release version is only with imperial units and charge more money for the metric version. After trying to sell for more money metric version. Attempts to collect the money through the company and not the amazon site.When asked to return, charges more for shipping costs, when he did not even send anything.
