Inkrite 50 Sheets 6x4 190gsm Single Sided Matte (Matt) Photo Paper

Did the job. Arrived quickly.

Have used the gloss version several times and found the matt version as good as I expected.

So, firstly there was no text, watermark or instructions indicating which side of the paper was supposed to be printed on. As such I wasted over half the pack printing on the wrong side. Out of curiosity as it looked bad, I switched it over and the print quality was slightly better but much brighter. The reason however for the poor review is that this paper was supposed to be matte but doesn’t appear to have any properties of other matte papers and seemed to have a high level of absorption making the pictures overly dark. The paper feels completely in coated and no different from normal printer paper albeit it neatly sized. In fact I got very similar results printing on normal paper. I would consider trying the gloss version next time but will jot be buying the matte paper again.
