Tried a few other brands available online here in the UK before buying this. Vinod idli maker seems to be of far better quality than the others. However, the idlis it make are quite small and also the whistle noise is too high if the vessel is fully tightened.

Th quality is worst and I have posted the photos I can see something black dust on every plate and rust on each plate honestly I was very disappointed by the quality and never recommend this product also the plates were so delicate

Overall material is good but the idli plates are not that deep

Such a great product with the good price range.. easy to use and good for induction base and other gas tops .. works great makes idli very soft .. we just love it

The plates inside are of very poor quality and the stand is tilted. Also the depth of the plates is too shallow to make a good idli . I’m planning to either return or get an exchange for a good one

I recently ordered an idli cooker listed on Amazon... However, the product I received differs significantly from what was advertised. Here are the key discrepancies.. • Handle Design: Advertised: Features rounded, ergonomic black handles. Received: The cooker has different, more squared handles, suggesting a different design or brand... • Lid Design: Advertised: The lid has a steam vent and a top knob with a circular grip... Received: The lid is different in shape, lacks proper steam release features, and looks cheaper in build. • Idli Plates: Functional Issue: The plates have multiple unnecessary holes all over, causing the idli batter to fall through and making them unusable. Quality Concern: The plates have visible scratch marks and appear poorly finished.. • Condition of the Cooker: The cooker itself has scratch marks and visible black stains, making it look used or previously handled.. The overall build feels cheap and not as advertised..

Good product, value for money

The idly maker is good I using it since 4-5 months. A whistling sound comes while cooking no steam comes from side but goes out of whistle. It's bottom should be more strong.

I bought this idli maker set, and it is completely disappointing. While making idlis, the whistle makes such a loud and sharp noise that it literally hurts the ears. It sounds like the whistle is going to burst. This is definitely a faulty and unsafe product. The quality is very poor, and it does not work the way it should. I am writing this review to help other buyers – please do NOT buy this product. It is a waste of money and also risky to use. 🙏🏻 I would like a refund or replacement for this item.

I want big size idli maker ...because big family.. So I want return.
