The monitors to beat!
Adam have delivered a really great value here, and these look and sound incredible. The ribbon tweeters give a stunning reproduction of the high end without feeling harsh or shiny sounding, while the accuracy/detail at low volumes means these are great for reference work at low levels, which is great for pretecting your ears (vs something like the Rokits that might need to crank a bit higher). On the other hand, the 7" drivers deliver the power to get really loud when the need comes, so I'm definitely able to get them louder than I'd need in a decently sized room. This isnt a PA system, though, so although they'll definitely be heard over 8-10 people, a pair of these aren't going to bring the roof down in the same way that £300 odd worth of PA would. My only cons of note would be the volume/power placement on the back - i've left these on overnight a few times as its easy to forget with the switch/led hidden behind. Similarly, there's no notch at 0dB, so reaching behind to match the volume of the pair can be a bit annoying. Not the end of the world though as I tend to leave them at 0 and control the levels externally. One other thing is a very (very) quiet white noise that comes though while nothing else is playing, but this seems to be normal with this type of amplification, and is only audible in complete silence when you strain to hear it.They're not quite as menacing looking as the A series, but for a -lot- less money, I feel like Adam audio have kept the quality where it counts to deliver a fantastic sound. Overall a really great sounding pair of monitors that I have reccomended at every opportunity since buying soon after they were released!

Best studio speakers I heard so far. They just sound perfect in any condition. Love every second of sound that comes out through them.I’ve done the best decision after months of comparisons.

Great Monitors
Excellent monitors, you really can't do much better for the price.Lovely clear mids and highs and nice tight low end, with an overall fairly neutral response. Build quality seems good, and they look pretty cool on my desk.Bought to replace an old pair of rokit 6's for dnb production and casual listening, and the difference is night and day.

Awesome speakers
Got these for my new studio and so glad I did. It was a toss up between these and the Yamaha HS7 and I am certain I made the right choice.

Excellent value at this price
The 7s were good enough to replace some 2nd hand PMC fb1s and musical fidelity XA1 amp. Quite comfortably out performed that set up. Definitely use with good interconnects. I spent 60 pounds on some and the difference compared to 10 pound ones was massive. These are very revealing but also quite laid-back. If you prefer a more forward sound then the smaller 5s are a bit crisper in the midrange and vocals are clearer. But the 7s are fuller and have a bigger sound stage. I don't actually mix anything. Use them as Hifi speakers. And they're very likeable. I can listen for hours with zero fatigue. Toe tapping and good detail. A bargain for less than 1000 pounds. A huge bargain for 500 but 330. It shows how good active speakers are. You can't buy an amp and speakers for this price that can get close. To match them I reckon you need a system over 1000 pounds. Downside is only 1 input but you can use a preamp or input switch. Remote is your PC keyboard or your preamp control. So not as easy to use but worth it.Update. Now I have ground loop isolator and better cables there is no interference. This was caused by the graphics card coils in my PC. The isolator totally got rid of the issue. Well worth using one if you experience any sounds amplified from your comouter. I got these studio monitors after listening to a friend's smaller T5Vs. I don't produce or mix music. He does with the TS5V. Was incredibly impressed by how they sounded as a Hifi speaker. The dynamics and detail outclassed my high end stereo PMC speakers. So I now have these plugged into my PC using the dragonfly red DAC via a 3.5mm jack to 2 phono leads one on each speaker. Using an audio interface and the proper cables may be even better. They have they're own amplifier. Can only use 1 source at a time. No aux in. Slight mains interference on my current set up. Sound is revealing, lots of detail, good bass which you can hear individual bass notes. Lots of punch but never fatiguing. I can listen to these for hours. In a small room the T5V is probably better and I can imagine will be the better bet too if you mainly need midrange because the smaller woofers can move air quicker. But the T7V has a better bass and goes deeper. Not sub level deep but deep enough. The sound is tight and we'll controlled so you won't feel the thump of drums but will hear them being playedThere's not much sound leakage so even at high volumes in my loft, where I listen, if you go downstairs to the bedrooms the sound is fairly quiet with little boom. One listen to the TS7s was enough to win me over. If you like hearing more from your music and picking out individual instruments studio monitors seem to be really good. I've read Yamaha's competitor is more accurate but more tiring to listen to. For listening to music I strongly rate these. Heard they're good for mixing too. For the price they're great. Depending on your room you may want to block the bass ports up. I like my bass linear and was finding a bit of boom/amplification at certain frequencies. With the ports blocked the bass is still good but I get direct rather than reverb off room.
