Good quality, great size for my chicken straw

The bin is of comparable quality to most of the bins and/or incinerators available. It arrived with a slightly squiffy lid but that was easily reshaped. It's well galvanised, light and the lid fits really tightly. It's really well priced and is more than adequate for my use.

Having rescued an old smallish black metal bin from a neighbour in the street having a clear-out, and using it to store my compost, I decided to buy 2 more bins 50L and 90L to store my Ericaceous compost and the 100L Perlite I have bought, that needed storing. Having read the reviews about flimsy thin bins, I have low expectations. The bins arrived in a big card box with the smaller bin inside the bigger bin. No additional protection were inside but they arrived in good condition. The lids are more sturdy than expected and I am happy with them. The bins however are flimsy. The 90L will dent easily. The smaller one because of the shape is a tat less flimsy. The black one, presumably made many years ago, is totally thick metal, in comparison. For the prices and for my purpose, I am happy with them. I would not be willing to pay more money for thicker metalled bins. So good value as storage bins. 15.08.25 - I bought and received another 90L bin and this time the thickness of the metal is better than last year so surprised and delighted. I am using them to store my perlite and vermiculite.

This bins are flimsy. I ordered two bins and they very quickly arrived but they were packaged in one flimsy previously used cardboard box that was sellotaped together and it was damaged. After opening the box I found both bins were bent in the middle, so both stuck together and the lids were almost as flat as a pancakes. It looks like the bins have been stood on at one side and both crushed inwards and so they have stuck together with one bin inside the other. See pictures below. Good bins if they arrived undamaged, bent, with lids that hadn’t been flattened, so they are unusable. I managed to pull the bent bins apart but one bin simply falls over as it’s not straight so the are unfit for use.
